Illuminations- Open for everyone?

I was just reading a UK WDW site and they said that the turnstyles open for everyone just before Illuminations begins which allows people to enter without ticket media. Is this accurate?

No, not at all accurate. That would be incredibly unfair to those who paid admission.

I have heard reports that people have got into Epcot through the International Gateway entrance after park closing to watch Illuminations.

Supposedly this info is from the 2003 guide. This is a significant mistake in my opinion. Threehearts

I agree, a very significant mistake. They will let people in who are park hopping, the turnstiles are open, but, there are CM's there who do check for tickets and handstamps.
