Illuminations: just in time for us...

Tonight was the last night of a 2 week stay at WDW - we always look forward to Illumations and were disappointed by the shorter version minus globe - well, hurray, we noticed the globe was out on the lake today and we went out this evening - the full Illuminations show back just in time for us to see it! It seemed like there were a couple of tweaks to the show, although an expert might disagree - I didn't remember the blue lights spread across the lake surface when the globe comes out...?

Great fireworks!

We also love the renovated Haunted Mansion. Many subtle improvements without a horrible 'tiki room'-style reworking

Yeah, you have to have the globe. That's like taking away the big fireball that you can feel all the way across the lake. I'm always amazed at how much heat that thing puts out.

That is great you got to see it in its entirety! We have friends at WDW right now, so I am glad for their sake as well!

The globe is now supposed to have LED lights.
