Illuminations in the ATL airport

So we came back from the Cayman Islands earlier this week through Atlanta. I thought I was hearing the Illuminations music - looked up at a TV monitor to see if there was a WDW commercial, but it was a running advertisement for the city of Atlanta. I mentioned it to DW and she said she couldn't hear it well enough, but thought it was similar. So I zeroed my hearing in and yup - it was the Illuminations music on background with an ad for the city of Atlanta.

Has anyone else heard/noticed this? I was kind of surprised that Disney would let their theme music be used for the city of Atlanta.

Anyone can use Disney's music if they apply for permission and pay for the copyright. No different than radio stations play Disney songs.

I live in Atlanta and have not heard that advertisement. Around Christmas last year, a computer company was running a TV ad with part of the music from the movie in France in it, and I have heard part of the Soarin' music in an ad before also.
