Illuminations from Boardwalk??

On our arrival day, our PHP will not be activated. We were thinking of having dinner at our resort - AKL - and then heading over to the Boardwalk. Is this a good place to view Illuminations? Thank you.

This is a great idea! We've done this before too!

There's a bridge between the Boardwalk and the Yacht and Beach Clubs where you can view the fireworks.Actually anywhere on that end of the resorts along Cresent Lake is okay viewing.We picked a bench across from the bathroom by the pool there,to see them on our last trip! You're really only going to see the high flying burst but it's still pretty cool and definitely will get you in the Dsiney mood!

We just did this last week. We went to the bridge between the boardwalk and epcot and watched them there. Like Baloo said, you'll only see the high ones...but it is a beautiful spot, and then you can go back to the boardwalk and walk around. We stayed at the boardwalk, so catching the fireworks there was so easy and convenient. Our littlest one, DD2, loves fireworks, but not the noise...so it worked out perfectly! Have fun!
