illuminations from bistro de paris

can anybody tell me if bistro de paris is a good place to see illuminations? i have a adr for bistro de paris on july 4th for dinner - i understand (i think) illuminations is scheduled to start at 10pm that night, should i try to move my reservation up to 9ish ? or should i just stick with my 8:15 and after dinner watch from outside? Thanks

it is not a very good view, there are many obstructions and some areas in the dining room do not look out that way at all.

I would be surprised with 8:15 ressies that you will be done in time to be out and able to get a good spot for viewing the 10:00 fireworks. We've never been seated on time here on a weekend and it's not a fast paced meal.

And even if you get a window seat at Bistro, you would not have a very good view. There are trees in front of the windows and at best, you would see only part of the show.

The food here is excellent and I hope you enjoy your meal.
