What time do they allow everyone into the designated area?
Are there any seats or bench's
Does it get really crowded?

I don't think there's any seats or benches no it fills up very quickly. Therefore you need to grab a good seat and choose wisely or your view will be blocked by others.

1. Virtually nothing to stop you from going there at any time.
They won't "lock it down" until about 60-75 minutes before showtime.
But, if you have your FP, you can get in then.
2. Nope.
3. It can.

BTW, I don't recommend a FP for IllumiNations.
There are so many other great places to see the show.
