Might be just my dear wife and me, as 4+ year old wishes to spend the evening at the SandCastle Club (he's done Neverland and Simba's, so he's on his own little "tour de Disney")

Seriously, we'd love to do this with some other DisBoard'ers

I knwo this is Illuminations Cruise....but I have a Wishes cruise reservation that I really cannot afford. I have the reservation for August 29 on a premium boat meaning that the music is piped into the boat. The price is $250 including the taxes.
Instead of just cancelling it and leaving it up for grabs to just anyone I would rather give it to someone on here. The boat holds 12 people. Let me know if someone would be intrested. Email is billiej@libertytravel.com

I'm going to post here and I did as well on the August cruise thread. We are a family of 5 (me, dh, ds-15, dd-9, ds-9) looking to share a cruise on August 31. Its our anniversary and I really would like to have the Illuminations cruise for our anniversary.

Desperately trying to find space on any Wished or Illuminations cruise for anytime July 28 - August 1st for 3, me and my 2 sons.

Thanks SO much!

I have also posted on the October cruise thread. Looking for four people who would like to join us on an October 15 Illuminations Cruise. We got the boat!! (DH, me, sister, DBIL, DS4, and DS6). PM me if you are interested!

Anyone have room on a cruise from 9/5 to 9/10?? It is my DH and I, and our 3 1/2 yr old DD. They have never been to DW ever, and I think this would be so much fun!!

How is it? Is the music piped into the pontoon boat? When they say they park you under a bridge, is it close enough to see the show with a good view? That is alot of money for a 45 minute boat ride and I have always wanted to try this, but want to be sure!

Thanks if anyone has info :goodvibes

1. It's great.
2. Don't need music piped in, you are next to two large speakers, no problem hearing the show.
3. Very close to fireworks, can feel the heat from the flame barge.
4. View is unobstructed, nobody standing in front of you, no trees in the way, and you are at water level.
5. It's much more reasonable if you are lucky enough to split all costs with another family.

Thank you Crazy Hakim!
I was fortunate enough to book a cruise for Sept. 3rd. This will be our first trip home as DVC members and I am very excited, as we are staying at the Boardwalk. What I am not excited about, is the fact my in-laws (MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL and a few rugrats all of whom I'd rather not deal with) are going to be there for 2 of our 4 nights. I am trying to figure out how I can convince my DH to split the cost of this cruise with another deserving DIS family, instead of treating his thankless family to this cruise, all on our dime. :rotfl2:
BTW, I am not kidding. I will work on this mercilessly and will let those who need a cruise the 3rd know if I pull this off. Wish me luck and PD.

anyone have an opening for 2 for any cruise from October 8th-14th?Last minute I know, just looking for a surprise for Tom. Thanks Tam

They told me 10 on the phone but I have read 12 if you have some children

Does anybody know if it is 10 or 12?

If 12 we may have room on ours for two more people

Hi,

It says maximum of 12 people (10 adults) on the allearsnet Iluminations cruises page. Does that mean 10 adults plus 2 children? It must do. :confused3

I called the WDW-play number to verify this and they were adament that only 10 people could be on board. They said that young children count as people too.
