jimmytammy Just make sure that you have told them that you want to view illuminations on this cruise and they will change the start time accordingly. If you have reserved the last cruise of the day, you're all set.

dgaston Congratulations on getting that reservation. The DIS is wonderful for learning all the little special things about WDW, isn't it?

thanks for the info. I will call and confirm with WDW

I don't know if this is the right thread but I just got done booking a Wishes cruise for 11/29. I and the CM who booked it was shocked that it was still available. They will pick us up at Wilderness Lodge(where we have PS for dinner) and go watch the new Wishes fireworks. I am thrilled! Couldn't find info on it anywhere like Illuminations but took a chance and called and asked!

We would love to share an illumination cruise one night between 21.5.04-4.6.04. There would be 2 adults and 1 child. I look forward to a response

Welcome to the DIS, SammyG, I'm very glad you found us and I hope you can visit often.

You need a cruise for May or June? You will have to wait until 90 days in advance before you can reserve one.

That will be sometime in February, I think.

With the kind help of this board, I was able to secure reservations for Feb 1 leaving from the Boardwalk Marina. Thank you.

Since Epcot will be closed by the time we get off the boat will we be allowed to return to the back gate of Epcot and enter so that we can walk to the front gate to get the bus back to CBR?

I cant say with 100% surety but I think you need to catch the bus from BW back to DTD then catch your bus back to CBR. I dont think Epcot will allow you back into the gate. I hope this helps. We have the same dilema trying to get back to WL and this was the advice I was given by others on this board.

On a whim, just called WDW ... Illuminations is all booked for the days we're there (11/14, 11/15, 11/20, 11/21, 11/22) ... but the MK Fireworks cruise was still available for 11/14 AND 11/15 ... since we're flying in 11/14 I opted to book the fireworks cruise for 11/15.

So, now I have a TON of questions!!!

We've done the Illuminations Cruise in the past and thought it was worth every penny we spent (including the extra $100 for the birthday package).

But I'm worried about the fireworks cruise.
 • Where does the boat dock for watching the fireworks?
 • Can we hear the music & narration that go with the fireworks?
 • Will we be able to see Tinkerbell fly?
 • Will we see the castle change into the sorcerer's hat?
 • Will we enjoy this as much or more than or less than the Illuminations Cruise?????
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!

ivanova, I've never experienced the MK fireworks cruise. I know several DISers have done, though. Why don't you post a query on the board itself? I'll bet you get some great feedback, if you do.

Karen2952 You should post this request on our Illuminations Cruise Central for January. You will find that HERE

Good luck!

Looking for a link for December cruises. How do I get to it or can someone post the link?

Hi all,

Have any of you room for three adults on your boat?

We are looking for 21st jan if poss but may be free for other dates around that week.

If so please let us know, we don't bite.

:wave2:

You might have better luck finding a cruise to share if you post this request to our ILLUMINATIONS CRUISE CENTRAL FOR JANUARY. You will find that thread HERE

I don't suppose anybody has room for 4 on NYE??? Just thought maybe there might be a cancellation or something.

Would you believe there was a pontoon boat available for the 7:30 NYE presentation? Last minute cancellation.

As far as the 11:40 show, all of the boats were sold out and it was a mandatory Level 3, ($350.00 - Level 3 - up to 4 people. Includes boat, driver, sandwiches, soda, water, snacks, dessert, fruit and cheese, Alcohol ( a bottle of wine or a bottle of champagne or beer), boat decoration theming. $50.00 for each additional adult.) and since the party size was required at the time of booking, you really could not add on additional persons at the last moment.

[*]Where does the boat dock for watching the fireworks?
Boat does not dock, it parks in Seven Seas Lagoon, and may drift a little depending on the wind.

[*]Can we hear the music & narration that go with the fireworks?
Sometimes, but I would not count on being able to hear the entire narration, clearly.

[*]Will we be able to see Tinkerbell fly?
Yes, the driver should position the boat where you can see Tinkerbell.

[*]Will we see the castle change into the sorcerer's hat?
Depending on the boats position, usually if the driver pulls father back you get a better view of the castle.

[*]Will we enjoy this as much or more than or less than the Illuminations Cruise?????
Tough question. IllumiNations is very "up-close and personal" BUT Wishes is a beautiful presentation and the view from Seven Seas Lagoon is unmatched. It is a very wide presentation and the castle is the central figure in the show. I cannot see how it can be appreciated from behind the castle, or from the far sides. The cruise is very enjoyable and a lot also depends on your driver's participation.
