I followed the instructions from nativetxn's so wonderfully detailed description on pg. 1 of this thread, but, with all my excitement and double checking my memory, I really cant be 100% positive that I pressed #5 in February.

Though I did get my cruise!!

I do know that everyone is right on the money with starting to call right BEFORE 7 AM. I even checked an official time site so I didnt rely on my home clocks.
I understand you not wanting to get the wrong info!
How about trying it before your scheduled day to see if it works??

I recently called and the numbers I pressed were 4,2,1,1 I didn't wait, I pressed them all one right after the other and got through with no problems. I actually got through twice in the same week. Start calling at 6:57 and as soon as the message changes press the numbers. You shouldn't have too much of a problem.

There are individual threads for each month if you want to share a cruise.

Go to the first page of this thread. At the bottom of the first post, there are links to each month.

Post you requests there (or read the posts to see if somebody has room) and you will have better luck.

what is the sequence of #'s that we are supposed to hit when we get the message? I tried to just hit #5 real quick this morning and it took me to a bunch of other questions and then said it did not understand my command...needless to say I didn't get through until 7:03 and everything was gone by then...any help here were be appreciated....

What I have is #'s 4 2 1 1 in this order. I still am a little cofused about this #5 vice #4. When I called there was no #5 option. If anyone has more info please add.

OK, just went through it for fun....the sequence should be easy to remember: #4, #1, #1
as soon as the recording starts; immediately hit 411 and that will get you where you want to go...
ps...I believe you could press 421 as well and it will work too...
the only difference in that second question is: press 1 if you've visited WDW before and 2 if you haven't...

The answer is simple- The message/recording has changed in the last little while. It was still #5 last time I called about a week ago, but it has been all over these boards that it is now #4...

I will be cancelling a reservation for April 21st for an illumination cruise on the Breathless. The Breathless fits 7 people and the cost is $175. I posted before but no luck- Send me a pm if interested in the reservation- Thanks-Ellen

Sorry for sounding crazy for askin this, but what is an Illuminations cruise? And how much for a family of 4 adults and 1 kid (whether it makes a difference)? Thanks!

In a nutshell..the "Specialty Cruise" is a cruise from the Y & BC to EPCOT's Worlds Showcase to view "Illuminations" from the water.
There are 4 pontoon boats ( 12 passenger-$120. + tax) and 1 restored cruiser ( 7 passenger- $175. + tax). Its a per boat price.
Go to "theme park attractions,strategies" forum and see a great explanation from nativetxn on pg. 1.
Good Luck if you decide to reserve...they go quickly...got mine for May!!
