We lost out on the crap shoot of getting through to member services and booking an illuminations cruise.

Is there anyone out there that has booked an illuminations cruise and has room for extra people?

We will be at Disney 12/18 though 12/26.

Thanks for the help!

I can't help with the cruise as ours is in October, however by my calculations you still have 3 more days to try for a cruise of your own.

My advice...do NOT go through Member Services for the Illuminations Cruise. Call (407) WDW-PLAY instead. I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the voice mail menu before your actual call. I usually call about 15 minutes before they open (the open at 7am) to see which buttons I will need to press, etc. Then, at about 6:58 I start dialing. You can press the necessary buttons immediately, rather than waiting for the whole spiel, and by listening to the first second or two of the final spiel you will be able to tell if the office is open. I keep doing this until I get through and it has worked well. Also, if you are placed on hold do NOT hang up. For our Oct. cruise I was placed on hold and figured I had no chance. I decided to hang on anyway and was thrilled when the reservation CM told me there was one cruise left!

Good luck!

Definitely check out the above thread. I just got 2 seats on an Illuminations cruise for 12/17.

Are you looking for any additions for your cruise? If yes, when in Oct.? We will be at the BCV from 10/19-10/31. We are a party of 3, my DH, DD 4yrs and myself. We have MNSSHP on 10/19 and Fantasmic on 10/26, but other nights are available. Anyway, have a great cruise and a fantastic trip!

mikayla'sMom - Unfortunately we are a party of 12 so we fill all of the spaces on our boat. Otherwise you would be more than welcome.

I called to get an Illuminations Cruise for our party for our Nov. trip (I called right at 90 days). We have 8 adults and 5 children. I knew that the max capacity was 12 but since the kids ages were 5,4,4,3,2 I hoped that they would accommodate us. I thought that this would be our best way to see Illuminations with all of the kids...Anyway, the person I spoke to said that 12 was max...no exceptionsIt is probably too late now, but does anyone think that I should call back and maybe get a cruise for all 13 of us?:( :( :(
