Illuminations Cruise

Has anyone ever taken a baby on the IllumiNations cruise? Is it too loud for them. I was there myself last year but I can not remember how loud it exactly was making me think it wasn't that bad if it doesn't stand out in my memory. TIA for responses.

We haven't taken a baby but I do remember it being pretty loud. You get pretty darned close.

We took our DD on the Illuminations Cruise when she was 9 months old. It was loud and we always put cotton in our kids ears for the loud shows and the fireworks. She fussed a little when it first started, but then she calmed down. We disliked the smoke and debris than blew in the direction of the boats. Probably wouldn't take such a little one on again. Just my opinion.
