illuminations cruise parking question

We have an Illuminations cruise booked in October. We plan on spending the day in Epcot and then have ADR's at Cape May Cafe at 6:00. We must report to the Yacht Club Marina at 8:00. We are staying off site so we will have our car. Is it possible to park our car over at the Beach and Yacht club in the a.m. and then walk to Epcot? We also want to make sure our car is not towed. Would valet parking be an option? Can our car remain there the entire day? We are just trying to avoid parking in the lot at Epcot and then having to go back to our car, drive it to the Yacht Club. We are not trying to avoid paying the parking fee. Any suggestions?

Some say (and rhyme) parking valet will make it all OK (I tend to agree).
It can sometimes depends on the time of year (guest-level at Yacht & Beach Club) and even the "mood" of the valet parking folks that day.

Be sure to EXPLAIN what you intend to do as you approach the valet parking captain.
With the many things you are doing, it should not be a problem to park that way.

How much money is valet parking anyway?

It was about $7.00 when I last checked.
(Plus TIP).

Virtually the same price as the parking fee at the theme-parks (but no TIP).

Edit:

THIS JUST IN...
Safetymom reports that starting today (Sunday, Sept, 3) the cost to park cars at the theme-park lots rose to $10.
I'll guess that the valet parking rate increased to a similar rate.
