Illuminations Cruise in Sept - Wanting to share yours

Hello all.

Four of us (3 adults, 1 child-DS5) will be at Epcot Sept 28th & 29th. One of those nights we'd love to do the Illuminations Cruise. If you have a ressie and would like to share your boat and the cost of it with us, we'd love to join you.

The 28th is my best buddy's b-day, and this is his first ever trip to WDW!

I have 7 in my party (two of which are children) I was planning on booking it for september 29th. We would just make the 12 passengers. Let me know if your interested.

On the 28th we were not planning on being in EPCOT, but now that I think about it, what a great way to spend a Birthday. Lets try to get it for the 28th and have the 29th as a back up.

The 29th is an EMH night in Epcot. Would hate to walk/drive all the way over to the marina and then all the way back.

Hey I just called Disney, the information I got on the illumination thread was wrong, it can't hold 12 people. For EPCOT they have a 10 person boat for $250. It has to be booked 90 days to the day that we want it and we have to call at 7am because they are usually sold out by 7:30. So our date would be July 1st.


The passanger thing is not a problem because the other family traveling with me was not that interessted in it so for my group there will only be 3...maybe 4 people going.

Alrighty, I just called up Disney.

The Birthday Cruise is $275 for up to 10 people on a 24-foot pontoon boat. The price includes snacks, drinks (water, sodas), decorations (balloons etc.), and a driver. You can order a birthday cake which is extra (I have the number if you need it, it's like $16). It departs from the Y&BC Marina at about 8:30pm.

We could do either cruise, it's fine with me. We'll be eating at the Biergarten for my buds B-day a little while before this, we can have his cake in either place. I'll leave that up to you.

The call date to reserve for 9/28/06 would be Friday, June 30th, 2006.
