Illuminations Cruise - do they cancel for rain?

We have an Illuminations cruise scheduled for Monday night - which I am so excited for. I have wanted to do this forever! We are leaving tomorrow for a HHN/Disney week with friends and booked this cruise as a surprise. The weather is looking iffy for the next week, does anyone know if they would cancel this cruise for rain, or a storm?

Any info is appreciated and would also love to hear anyone else's experience doing this cruise - I am hoping it lives up to my expectations. Can't wait!

We did this cruise 2yrs ago. Our kids had booked it as a gift for our 25th anniversary. The night of our cruise, it was indeed lighting out and they cancelled it. They had us go into the Beach Club and speak with a CM who helped us reschedule for 2 nights later. I guess I would recommend booking this early in your trip incase this happens.

Incidentally, the cruise itself was wonderful, and a night none of us will forget!!!

Thanks so much. It is scheduled early in our trip however I'm not sure we could reschedule without giving up something else - MK fireworks, Star Wars Dessert Party, or our beloved monorail pub crawl.
