Party Boat excursions take visitors onto Bay Lake, Seven Seas Lagoon, Crescent Lake, or through the Downtown Disney Waterways. In the evenings, excursion cruises provide great views of the dramatic lighting at the resorts and theme parks, including the fireworks shows. Guests can arrange private dining cruises as a unique way to celebrate a special occasion. Evening cruise times vary according to the fireworks show schedules. Any Walt Disney World visitor can reserve an excursion cruise up to 90 days in advance through Disney’s Sports and Recreation Line (407 939-7529).


Moonlight Cruises: At night, special pontoon boats depart from the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, or Wilderness Lodge. They cruise Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, providing spectacular views of the Electrical Water Pageant and the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Cruise boats carry up to twelve people and rent for about $120, driver included

IllumiNations Cruises: Visitors take a scenic evening tour of Crescent Lake before anchoring at the World Showcase Lagoon for an up-close view of IllumiNations, the nighttime fireworks extravaganza at Epcot. Pontoon boats depart from the BoardWalk Marina or from the Bayside Marina at the Yacht Club. The boats carry up to twelve people and rent for about $120, driver included.

Birthday or Anniversary Cruises: Pontoon boats decorated with balloons, streamers, and party favors are available to groups for special occasions. These evening cruise packages include a decorated cake and beverages. Boats depart from the Yacht Club, the BoardWalk Inn, the Contemporary, or Wilderness Lodge. The cost for the boat and driver is about $175 for one to seven people and about $230 for eight to twelve people.

Picnic Cruises: These afternoon cruises cast off from the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary resort for a leisurely tour of Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. A picnic lunch of salad, sandwiches, chips, sodas, and cookies is included. There are two sailings, one at about 12:45 PM and one at about 2 PM. The cost, including a driver, is around $175 for one to four people, about $200 for five to six people, and approximately $230 for seven to eight people.

Its a specialty cruise just like illuminations cruise. Call the same numbe rto book. They are normally easier to get.

My husband & I just celebrated our 30th anniversary and are going to WDW ALONE this time - NO KIDS. I would like to surprise him with an Illuminations cruise. I have been trying to get a reservation myself with no luck. We are available any night from Oct 27 - Nov 2 with the exception of Oct 31, (going to MNSSHP). If you have room on your boat we would love to share.

The MK Fireworks cruise is pretty nice. You get to cruise around Crescent lake and surrounding areas for a little bit, then they take you off shore of the MK to watch the fireworks. You can just barely hear the music, but have a great view of the fireworks. If the fireworks are timed just right, the driver is able to allow you to see the Electrical Water Pageant also. This has only happened once for us, and we've done the MK cruise 3 or 4 times. It's not up close like Illuminations, but still something really nice to do.

I wont hold my breath but it can never hurt to ask... we are looking to find someone who already has an illumination cruise booked and would be willing to share with myself (37 year old female), my father (older gentelman) and my daughter (2 1/2 year old princess) .
