Illuminations Cruise at MK for Wishes

I wanted to do the Illuminations cruise for Epcot but none were available. So I signed up for the illuminations cruise leaving WL to see Wishes at MK - has anyone done this cruise? Is it any good? Is it worth it? All I hear about is the Epcot cruise so I was interested in finding out about this one - the price is the same. thanks!

We have done the Magic Kingdom "Wishes" cruise several times. We love it! The view is wonderful... you can see the entire fireworks show and there are no obstructions. The Epcot "Illuminations" cruise is nice, but some of your view is obstructed because they park all the boats under the bridge. We try to do both cruises on our trips, sometimes it is hard to book them because they have really become popular. We think they are definately worth the money!

We too preferred the MK fireworks cruise to the Illuminations Cruise at EPCOT. Besides not being crowded together with other boats by the bridge another part of the Illuminations cruise I didn't care for as much was that folks in the park could look right down on you. I felt like I was on stage.

We also think think the ride around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake is prettier and more magical than the Boardwalk area.

Watching the fireworks from a boat in Seven Seas was both magical and very private. We did our cruises some years ago and I think it would be incredible with Wishes which is so much more impressive than previous fireworks shows at MK.
