illuminations Cruise + AP holders

Does anyone know if AP holders get a discount on the illumination cruise! - there will be 6 of us 4 ap holders and thought this would be a lovely way of seeing the fireworks.
Also were do you board and alight the boats - is it inside the park or at a resort.

There are currently no discounts for AP holders. As for boarding the boats it will be right outside the Yacht Club so park entry is not required, you also get dropped back at the Yacht Club.

You pay by the boat, not per person. You need to make reservations for this in advance. Very very very much in advance as the reservations sell out very quickly. i made our reservations for a boat the moment they were available for the date i wanted (many months in advance).

I think there is some place on the dis boards, where people offer to share their illuminations cruise (since the boats hold something like 8 to 12 people, some people try to find others to share with them).

I'm sure others on this board will be more familiar.

Just to echo what Beth says really - you have to be on the phone as soon as the lines open! We tried 14 days in a row one year and ended up with 14 Wishes cruises (one every day we tried ) but the Illumintaions Cruises had all gone literally seconds after the lines opened that day.

I think there's a link somewhere which can marry you up to people who have spare capacity on their boat.....?? I know that's how we did it the first time round.

Getting a booking on an Illuminations Cruise is a matter of very good luck and a quick re-dial button!
