Illuminations Cruise... Anyone used Y&B private dining for a meal?

My sister will be celebrating her 50th Birthday & I am going to try & book a Illuminations cruise. We have ADRs at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, but curious to find out if anyone had "picniced" on the cruise. If so what did you have & did you like it?

I did the cruise about 2 years ago for my daughter’s birthday. It was wonderful & amazing. We didn’t get the food, but the CM was fantastic. FYI you need to call exactly 180 days out at 7am EST (407) 939-7529. If I remember correctly, there are only 2 or 3 boats per show.

I would not recommend getting a full meal served on the boat. Dine at YSH, and either order a dessert platter or carry out dessert for YSH. The boats are not a perfect place to try to dine off a plated meal. Finger foods, or sandwiches are ideal (Pizza, Hot Wings, Chicken Fingers, Cheese Platter, etc. But trying to dine a full course meal is difficult.
