Does anyone know how much the Illuminations cruise costs?

Also, how much extra is the MNSSHP? Is it worth it?

We have a group of nine going and are trying to figure out our plans...

I just called today and got information for my group that is going in October. We have 7 people right now, and that's not enough for a Grand Gathering. Illuminations cruises for 10 people stay by the bridge and cost $250, this includes the driver of the boat, and chips/snacks. You can book those 90 days in advance.

We did the Illuminations Cruise (they won't actually call it that when you reserve, because if they cancel the fireworks for low clouds or weather, you still get the cruise) last May, cost around $175 with no food. Adding food/drinks REALLY adds to the cost. We were staying at BWV so we hit dinner on the BoardWalk first, then took the cruise for a nightcap. We did it the first night in Orlando, really set up the entire trip.

We hit MNSSHP in mid-October last year. With our AP discount I think it cost 32ish bucks for my Bride and I and mid 20s for the kids. It was a great time. The fireworks display and parade are different than the normal gig and their were plenty of characters and candy to keep you busy. We went on a Sunday night and were able to walk onto pretty much every ride we wanted without waiting more than 5-10 minutes. Is it worth it if you had to pay admission for that day and then add more for the night? That's a hard one, but with our APs covering our "normal" admission, it was OK for us. If you wanted to only attend the "Party," the earliest you could enter the park was 5:00, I believe. At 7:00 they basically push all the MNSSHP guests into Adventureland and clear the rest of the park. Once complete, you have the run of the place.

With a group of 8 or more you should consider doing some of the grand agthering events. These events are only available to groups of 8 or more. We did them all last year and love each one. We especially like Tony's breakfast and the Safari and dinner. You need to book early since they fill up fast. Good luck and have a great time.

The illuminations cruises are amazing! They're such a special way to watch Illuminations. The cost for the pontoons & the Breathless are $250. That includes tax, non-alcoholic drinks & snacks (chips & pretzles).

It doesn't include a tip for your captain though...... :sunny:
