Sorry for the probably stupid question but would someone be kind enough to calm my worries?

We'll be staying offsite early September and so won't have access to magic hours and on the day we was thinking of visiting Epcot I've noticed that it has magic hours from 9-11pm.

Does this mean anyone who doesn't have access to the magic hours will not be allowed to view illuminations at 9pm that evening? Or do they only begin to filter out those without magic hours access after illuminations?

Thanks to anyone who can help me!

You will be able to view Illuminations. They won't kick you out.

Worry not. You will be able to see Illuminations with no problem.

Technically speaking, anyone who is in the park before 9pm can stay in the park for PM EMH whether or not they are an onsite guest. They scan bands at the entrance of each attraction to confirm onsite guests, so offsite guests wouldn't be able to ride anything.

Worry not! As the others have said, you will be able to watch. After, though, you won't be able to get in line for any rides or anything like that. You just head home and go to sleep with wonderful music and sights playing through your mind. :thumbsup2

PM EMH "resort guests only" rules do not apply to IllumiNations, Wishes, or Fantasmic!

After Illuminations, you won't be able to ride any rides, but I think that you are free to hang around the park and go into gift shops, etc., if you want to. Not sure about restaurants.

This is different than when MK closes for MVMCP or MNSSHP, where if you don't have a ticket for that they will follow you and make sure you leave the park.

Oh that's great to hear!
Thank you all so much for stopping my worries :goodvibes
