IllumiNations is showing a 10:00 start time some days in September. Is that correct? In all of our trips, I have never seen it at any time other than 9.

Fridays and Saturdays during food and wine it is 10.

This is only our second trip during Food and Wine and I guess we did not go to Epcot those days during our other trip. Is it really a park to be avoided on the weekends then?

It depends on your tolerance for drunk people at Disney. There will be drunk people during Food and Wine and yes for the sheer number on Friday and Saturday at some point during the festival there may be a rowdy bunch having fun. Disney tried to keep all the groups in line but I always say it is a personal choice for weekends at F&W. It is also very crowded but not any worse then a summer day.

Also, it starts at 9:30PM nightly during the entire holiday season (from the night after Thanksgiving, up thru Dec.30) every year.

Edit: "9:30PM or later"

Thanks! I guess my memory is not what it used to be. In my defense, this will be the first time since 2009 that we have been in Dec. It is longer then as well, right?

Our daughter will be doing the college program this fall so I have quite a few trips to plan.

Yeah December is at 9:30 and has the holiday tag (my favorite).

The BEST people watching in all of WDW is either seeing an adult who could use a drink have a total meltdown, or the drunks during F&W.

Always check the Times Guides for show times when you are at WDW.

The World Showcase will be packed on the weekends.
