Illumination cruise or Wishes?

I want to book a cruise for my daughter's 7th birthday... which one would you recommend? I can tell that you are fairly close to the fireworks for Illumination, how about for Wishes? Are you very far away, like at the Wishes cruise for the grand gatherings? Thank you for your help!

yes wishes is very far away. IMO the Illuminations is the better cruise, but both are good. If your daughter does not like loud noises, then maybe the wishes is the way to go. Also, the Illuminations cruise can be difficult to book, while the wishes seems much easier. So maybe you will want to aim for the Illuminations and fall back on the wishes if you dont make it.

We noticed several of the cruise pontoons in the same area as our GG cruise... So yes, same general area. Far away? Perhaps, but you do get a "castle view" (with fireworks behind it), which is sometime hard to get in the park. If you book a wishes cruise, be sure to book one with sound -- perhaps they all are now, but it used to be just the larger size pontoon had the sound piped in.

For Illuminations, you'll want to be on the phone first thing, first day. Enjoy!
