Illumination Cruise (Is It Worth It?)

I was thinking of booking the Illumination Cruise one night while we are there in June. If anyone has done this, was it worth it? I have read that it was real smokey from the fireworks? and that the view is not much better than if you are just on land. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks.

We enjoyed ours and had a really great driver. He picked us up from the Yacht club boat dock and we cruised around the lagoon. He had tons of information about the nearby resorts (YC, BC, Swan, dove) and the famous guest he's seen there. He let my 3 sons steer the boat and explained to them the controls on the dash. Our view was great but I can see how if its a windy day, your view can be smoky. The one thing I missed was seeing the outline of the countries in lights, you really can't see it from the boat.

We like to do little extras like that instead of buying souvieners so for us it was well worth it.

Yes thanks for the review. I am still on the fence, I have 16 days until I hit the 90 day mark. I believe that is when I can make the reservation?

I've done 4 Illuminations Cruises over the years and each one has been great. The view from water level is great and I've never had a smoky night, but you never know which direction the wind blows. It nice to have your own space on the boats - no crowds!!!
