ILL recovery pass question

Do they ever, in the current ILL system, give recovery passes for a downed ILL ride that you can use the next day? For instance if I have an end of day Rise ILL and it breaks, do I just try to get a refund or is it ever possible to get a recovery pass for the next day?
Also thinking of this if a ride goes down earlier in the day but we have an ADR or plans elsewhere to get to, we’ll be there a full week with park hoppers, so if it’s a possibility I’d definitely appreciate the option.

I got a recovery pass for Remy, but the instructions for use were a bit confusing, and we had left Epcot for the trip by the time the recovery pass showed up. I ended up chatting with a cast member on the MDE app and just getting a refund. They were very nice about it.

Also, like I said above, the language was not all that clear but it seemed to me that we had to redeeem the “new experience” by the end of the day - not 24 hours or 48 hours like it used to be. It was also pretty unclear what the experience could be redeemed for. Any LL attraction in any park? It didn’t say. With the old recovery FP+ it was stated right on the redemption screen that it could be used for any attraction except, and then outlined the exceptions. This did not specify LL or ILL, and I wasn’t about to use my $20 pass to ride the teacups. Hence the request for a refund.
