~i'll be home for Xmas but 1st i'm going to DISNEY WORLD!~ TR link posted!

Your house looks beautiful and I love your tree!!! Tink looks perfect at the top! :goodvibes I can't believe you leave so soon!!! I'm so jealous! This is the 1st year in 5 years that we haven't gone for the Christmas season. :sad2: But, at least I can live through your trip!

Signing on very late to this party! I love the pic of you, DH and your pups. I have a 13 yr. old beagle who is the sweetest dog I've ever had.

I'm really impressed with the property you're staying at, very nice indeed!:thumbsup2

thanks for that, lisa!!!! now i'm really excited! i'll have to share that link with my fellow rings geeks. the article says that peter jackson is producing but not directing it. i hope he ends up directing it too. he did the rings movies and i think he'd do just as good of a job on the hobbit. i can't wait to see what the dragon looks like!

oh, and if you like peter jackson, go see "the lovely bones," which is due to come out in 2009. and if you like to read, read the book - it's an EXCELLENT book! it's about a little girl (13 years old i think) who is murdered and she's looking down on her family from heaven and the story is about what happens to them after her death. it's just a really good story. i can't wait to see what peter jackson's interpretation of heaven is! here's a link to the imdb site for the movie:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0380510/

Thanks! I'll definitely check it out! I hope Peter is directing it too! I haven't heard much about what is going on other than it is going on and it'll be 2 movies!

Urghhh, it's so hard to wait!

Your tree is awesome! I love Tink! So cute! Santa climbing on your house is hilarous!:rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing! We are getting our tree tonight! I'm so excited. My DD-12 is going to her dads for the weekend so we can't decorate until she gets home Sunday night.

I love your decorations! Santa climbing in the window is too funny!

i did not know that they had story teller santas in the countries, that is going to be great, i am hoping to eat at tapon edu on our next trip with my parents, mabye use my sunshine rewards and have it as there anniversary present from us...and that kitchen sink looks good, i think my dad could take that down, he loves icecream, but i think we will help him some.

this time next week, i will be on soarin or test track.

hey wait a minute, this time next week is friday the 12th. are you going into epcot that day?

we are too...how exciting.

Hey - been missing you-

Love the Tink tree topper and the sneeky Santa. Have fun on your trip! I love Disney in the summer but have decided that I want to see Disney at Christmas just once... I've been in the spring, summer and fall so all I need is a Christmas trip, dont you think?? Cant wait till you come home with pictures.

The house looks great. I like how the Tink topper changes color.

this is the ornament we bought this year at disney world...

Picture044.jpg

I bought that same ornament for my aunt last year at AK, except it didn't have the Mickey on top, and it was blank. I had the lady in the store airbrush "2007" on it for me, complete with pixie dust and all. pixiedust:

what a fun christmas filled installment!!!! love all your decorations..i hope you can patch up poor mickey!! :(

Oh side note..i didnt' know they were making :Lovely Bones: I really liked that book..Peter Jackson's spin on it will make it really interesting!

WOW that picture is amazing!!

I love the pictures of your house .. very pretty!

thanks! i didn't take that picture - got it off photobucket. but i agree - it's gorgeous!

I love your blow up Mickey! Where did you find him?

Your tree is beautiful! Great pictures!

thanks! i got mickey at home depot for $20. :thumbsup2

Oooh, I love your tree and decorations!!! I have the same Tink topper!! lol! Hollie just loves it!
I think the outside of your house looks gorgeous!! I love it when I see houses that have wreaths on every window! I love the Santa hanging from the window! He is cute!!! Where did you get him? (as I am typing this, Chad is saying NO we don't need anymore decorations outside!! :rotfl2: )

thanks! i got santa from a catalog. probably lillian vernon or something similar. i think i got him in 2003 so i'm not sure if he's still available or not.

I love the Santa hanging outside your window. i am so jealous of anyone who gets to see disney at christmas time

thanks! well, hopefully we will have lots of pretty pictures for you to enjoy!

Your house is really cute! I love the tink topper! As for your neighbor's house - fun, but too much is tacky. We had some neighbors at our old place that do that for every holiday! The rest of the time she has all kinds of "ranch stuff" wagon wheels, pumps, old farm equipment.... all over her front yard - it's a mobile home for Pete's sake! :lmao:

we have a lady in our neighborhood who we refer to as snow white because she has so many wooden and ceramic animals in her yard. :lmao:

This time next week is lookin' gooooood!

Your tree looks nice, and Tink looks very cute on top. The outside of the house looks good, too. Hope you get Mickey all fixed up.

I'm hoping to get around to putting up decorations (and getting the new report started) this weekend. It has been non-stop since we got back, but maybe the weekend will give me breathing room to get moving on both of those.

P.S. The calendar is looking especially happy, too!

it's always crazy for me too when i return from my happy place. ;) i'm liking how my calendar is looking too!

Hello! I'm leaving first thing tomorrow morning so I thought I'd stop by one last time to say have a great vacation! If I see you down there I'll say hello!

HAVE FUN!!!!! i hope we see you while we're there.

Your decorations look great! Hope you were able to resuscitate blow-up Mickey! And don't you just love the "this time next week" game?? I'll keep an eye out for you... I'd love to meet you guys!

i'm going by walmart this afternoon to see if i can find a patching kit for mickey. definitely say hello if you see us!

I love the Santa sneaking in your window!!:lmao:

thanks!

Your house looks so good! I MUST have that Tink tree topper now - I didn't know the wings lit up and change color! And that Santa hanging out the window cracked me up! Where did you get it?

You're killing me with holiday pictures from Epcot and the BW! It looks so pretty decked out for the holidays - you're going to love it!

i got the tink at the disney store for $16, but that was with a 25% off sale and another coupon i had. the santa i got out of a catalog a few years back - lillian vernon or something similar. i will be sure to take lots of pics of epcot and BW while we're there for you!!!

He's cute and he shares :goodvibes

Love that ornament. We have that tree topper too. We bought ours in 2004 in DTD at the Christmas store. I wanted a Tinkerbell topper for years and never could find one so I found one there that year and now she's all over the place.

We have those stockings too but not monogramed, are they from Pottery Barn? I have two actually for the two boys and then I classic pooh one for Elizabeth. My kids names are too long to have anything momogramed:laughing:

He's cute too. Our house is set back so I really don't do any decorations outside. But this year I did buy flags for the holidays that are Mickey so my Christmas one is out now. I hope Mickey gets all fixed. I think that's the same one my neighbor has.

yeah, luke is a sweetie when he wants to be! so true about tink! i've always loved her and it used to be so hard to find her. now she's everywhere! yep, those stockings are from pottery barn. i want a house far back off the road! ray and i agree that our next house will be on several acres and away from other houses and will have room for about 10 dogs!

Your hosue is so nice!!! Great decorations!

thanks!

OOOOH I love your house! And the tree? Gorgeous! Love the Tink on top! We have one as well...only our Tink is dressed Christmas-y(is that even a word)? Will you do me a favor? If you see anything cute and new of Tink when you're at WDW, such as clothes or bags...will you take a pic with it or of it for me so I can see it? Ha, I'm going through WDW withdrawals. :flower3:

thank you! i will take pics of tink stuff for you for sure! although i'm not sure i'll be able to get all of it because there's SO MUCH there! :rotfl:

yeah, i've been slacking on the peeps thread. i've gained a few pounds but i nipped it in the bud and i've lost about 3 of those. i still have about 8 yet to go to get back down to my goal weight that i reached last year!

and i totally agree that you should go to disney at christmas!

The house looks great. I like how the Tink topper changes color.

I can't pick a favorite pic it is so awesome just wait until you are standing in the middle of the snow looking at the lights.....and it's 70 degrees

Yayyyy! Sounds like a fun day! I love Hollywood Studios!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I have a little favour to ask you!! When you're eating at Sci-Fi for lunch, can you please check out the dessert menu and see if the chocolate tart is still there!?

It was my faaaaavourite dessert in 2006, and it's still on the AllEars menu, but I've read a few people's dining reviews lately that seems to have a slightly different menu. I'll be so sad if the chocolate tart is gone!! I'll need to prepare myself early. Hehee.

i have a question for those of you who have travelled to disney world in the winter months. of course i've been checking the forecast daily. it was sunny/partly cloudy with highs in the low 80's and lows in the 60's but now it's changed to this:

Thursday, Dec 11
High: 67 °F RealFeel®: 63 °F
A couple of showers in the morning; otherwise, windy and not as warm with low clouds
Thursday Night, Dec 11
Low: 49 °F RealFeel®: 42 °F
Mostly cloudy and breezy

Friday, Dec 12
High: 70 °F RealFeel®: 68 °F
Partly sunny
Friday Night, Dec 12
Low: 43 °F RealFeel®: 36 °F
Partly cloudy

Saturday, Dec 13
High: 63 °F RealFeel®: 55 °F
Sunny to partly cloudy and cooler
Saturday Night, Dec 13
Low: 48 °F RealFeel®: 44 °F
Mainly clear

Sunday, Dec 14
High: 70 °F RealFeel®: 64 °F
Partly sunny
Sunday Night, Dec 14
Low: 51 °F RealFeel®: 50 °F
Partly cloudy

i've already started to pack and right now i'm taking mostly jeans, short-sleeved shirts and a couple of hoodies. now i know how 60 degrees in georgia can feel different than 60 degrees somewhere else. so i'm wondering if i'll be okay with the wardrobe i'm packing????
