She left one of the best OB/GYN'S in Omaha when she found this doctor who encourages VBAC's... and none of us are happy.
BUT....the doctor inserted a foley bulb yesterday, and she was getting some contractions, so they had her go up to L & D at 6:00 and were going to break her water, but she was dilated to 4 and 80% effaced when she got there, so they had her walk for a couple of hours. Once she got to 6cm's and 90%, they broke her water. I haven't heard from Dave for an hour and a half or so, but at that point, Megan still had refused any meds.
I'm hoping to heck that they'll do a section at the first sign of trouble, or if she stalls.
Megan said if it gets to be 7:00 am, when they had the section scheduled, and if it looked like she was going to labor all day, she'd just go ahead with the surgery.
I'm at her house with the boys, so I'm only getting rare updates from Dave.
Will let everyone know.
