Garry, take care of yourself! I know of a certain young girl who would love to take good care of your babies - however, as much as she'd like to pass them off as large dogs, I think the homeowner's association would frown upon it.

My parents arrived Saturday to escape from the Chicago cold for a month. Kids finished finals on Friday. Our big Christmas dinner with John's aunt, uncle & cousins was Sunday. Mike played with our church orchestra on Sunday and will play Christmas Eve. Our big holiday push is over & because Mike plays all of the Christmas Eve traditional style worship services, we keep both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day low key. We're in a coasting mode until Sunday when we board RCCL's Voyager out of Galveston for a NYE cruise with the entire family.

Happy Birthday to Francis! What a nice suprise to have an unexpected visitor. No, I don't think I could have kept a secret. I've just about blown a few for Christmas around here.

Good Day all and happy holidays, happy travels. We are busy with the traditional Christmas preparations, interrupted this year by the atypical freezing weather resulting in the most typical colds. (cough, sneeze)....putting a damper on Christmas activities such as greetings to disfriends for which I will correct now.

GaRRy - you are right - I need to read the boards more often...It has been six days and I missed all the news. Come on down to Florida, we have room for one more....and I know it will be hard, but it will also be a new start - see Mary's post for the power of prayer.

And we will be doing a back to back - you will be boarding when we will be leaving the ship. Fun.

You'll have to let us know all about Palo and/or Remy - no ressies for the common herd like us -- apparently Disney snatched them for all the VIPs....gee - I guess they haven't met Hedgie.

Bruce ran his first marathon this past weekend. We all went to Hunstville. He finished in 3:44.

I'm sorry I couldn't tell anyone. I was afraid that if I told one, two or three people, then it might accidentally slip out on here, or on Facebook and I'd ruin the surprise. Better to just (for once!) clamp my mouth shut and keep it shut.

Sorry, you're out of luck. I don't like the looks of the menu, and since it's such a short cruise, I want to eat in each of the "new" dining rooms. So no Palo or Remy.

I'm working today - but as is tradition, I'm wearing the scrub top that gaRRy and Vicki got me for the Christmas Cruise. It's lime green and always elicits comments. It's hard to believe that many from this group started on that cruise 6 short years ago. What great friendships we have formed over those years.

Merry Christmas from the Burts.

How quickly 6 years has gone!!! That Christmas cruise and all our friends is the best Christmas present we have ever received.

This year we are actually all home for Christmas. This is the first time time in many years that we have not been on a trip for Christmas. It seems really nice, but I know that means next year we will be on the road. Hopefully, Matthew will be at a nice base to visit.

It's comforting to know that Virgil, and the whole medical community, is working and keeping people healthy over the holiday.

It's also great that 7-11 is open for our last minute Christmas shopping. Today is their biggest sales day of the year.
