Good Morning All -- A quick update on our front.
The seas finally flattened out after the Nicole "spit" and we were able to dive on Saturday

although it was predicted 1-3, it was more like a (insert that pancake rabbit from Mary's posts)......glassy and smooth.
First dive was Shark Canyon and they were there. We stayed with the experienced divers -- saw about 5, they were circling did not want to come and play. Then one diver sees a turtle and I thought he was hanging on it, I dove over the ledge to look

You do not hang on turtles and this diver would never do such a thing. Turns out the turtle had a leader in its flipper and the diver was removing it.

I realized I recogonized the turtle, and when we surfaced, this was confirmed. She (turtle) Has on banacle on her shell and stays in this vicinity. OK, must truely be a dive nut to recongize the turtle.
Second dive was awesome, giant grouper and the most unusual awesome fish that I cannot post publically as there is fear that someone will come along and collect it. Just know it was awesome....
Jim - sorry to hear the recession is not really over, but we knew that. And enjoy your time off from the grind while you can, forced layoffs are not fun.
Matt really wanted to go to Iraq?
Monica - I'd like some of your energy please.....and also earplugs
Angie - I'll trade you - after Nicole decided not to come here, we now have beautiful weather.....perfect. wish I was not in the office, need to be in the field today.
Virgil - Howdy - say hi to the newleyweds for us as well. Hope all is fine with you and no serious emergencies in the hospital. (Little ones are fine).....
Stacey - what gives?
Jim/Sharon/Lisa -- best of luck on the trip.
Diane - are you as excited as I am about F/W....my mouth is already watering. I can't wait.
GaRRy - come down here, it is nice.....and cool. yes, I am packing sweaters for F/W....WHEN by the way ARE you coming?
Suzanne - greetings to you as well....and remember to send me the bracelet when you have time. I'd like a 4 day a week job, even if it were for more hours a day, but just does not work in private practice...
Mary - We'll be seeing Keith and Joe soon......dinner at Kat's resturant. Wish you - and EVERYONE could join us, but alas, no-one has invented teleportation yet. Hey Virgil, Nick has some free time...ask him. I am ready to "beam".
Babies - ok, not the human kind and not the horsie kind, and not the doggie kind, on the kittie kind front, ours is blossoming. It is amazing what a few months of good care will do for a neglected cat. She is looking like a true Persian. We will see how she fluffs up this winter.
Everyone have a GREAT week. As Jim, said, Life is Good, and that is true.
