Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

Nick did contact me about getting together, but so far I've felt too crappy to think about it. Today feels pretty good, but I'm not going to over-do it like I did the last time I felt "pretty good". I need to see an end to this, and am willing to try that "Slow Down" thing. ;)

JIM.....do you know how to weld?? :lmao: Oops, never mind, we don't have any business, either.:sad2: Hanging on by a thread.

Jim - I'm so sorry to hear about the job - I understand the stress....

Virgil

Who said anything about stress? :confused3

My running has never been better. I have three marathons already on the calendar before the end of the year. I'm making these "goal" races and might try for a Boston Qualifying time. That is a far reaching goal for me.

Clover and I are having a great time and she is handling the extra training well. I'm driving Lisa a little more to her events. Some of the chores are finally getting done so it's not to bad.

This was the first time I've been let go, but I'm making the most of it. It sure is easier knowing the finances are not an issue.

I love the name Clover, by the way. Very unique. It's hard to come up with good names for dogs, but you guys did great.:dogdance:

Jim, I would say sorry about the job, but sounds like you are enjoying the vacation time. A blessing in disguise? At least you aren't worried about college costs!

Stacey, hope you feel better soon. It's very frustrating to be sick day after day, I know.

So Garry, when ARE you going to be at F&W?

Jim, sorry to hear about the job. I know it temporarily feels good but I am sure it will wear thin. My Jim just got a job 4 weeks ago after being off for 5 mos. Life is better financially but it sucks to have all those pesky chores waiting for us at the end of each day. I guess it's all about a tradeoffs. I have been working for my company for over 22 years and "almost" got put down to part time. Actually they gave me a date to go down to 4 days? week. I was just starting to wrap my head around the idea when they called me and told me that I am back to 5 days/wk. I wasn't sure whether to say thanks or not. The threat of reduced hours forced me to think outside the box a little. Either way, we wish you the best!

GOOD MORNIN

40 OUTSIDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

still looking at 2 trips to W D W this month and 1 trip at the beginning of december for the holiday lights !!!!!

Good Morning All -- A quick update on our front.

The seas finally flattened out after the Nicole "spit" and we were able to dive on Saturday :thumbsup2 although it was predicted 1-3, it was more like a (insert that pancake rabbit from Mary's posts)......glassy and smooth.

First dive was Shark Canyon and they were there. We stayed with the experienced divers -- saw about 5, they were circling did not want to come and play. Then one diver sees a turtle and I thought he was hanging on it, I dove over the ledge to look :confused3 You do not hang on turtles and this diver would never do such a thing. Turns out the turtle had a leader in its flipper and the diver was removing it. :goodvibes I realized I recogonized the turtle, and when we surfaced, this was confirmed. She (turtle) Has on banacle on her shell and stays in this vicinity. OK, must truely be a dive nut to recongize the turtle.

Second dive was awesome, giant grouper and the most unusual awesome fish that I cannot post publically as there is fear that someone will come along and collect it. Just know it was awesome....

Jim - sorry to hear the recession is not really over, but we knew that. And enjoy your time off from the grind while you can, forced layoffs are not fun.
Matt really wanted to go to Iraq?

Monica - I'd like some of your energy please.....and also earplugs:rotfl:

Angie - I'll trade you - after Nicole decided not to come here, we now have beautiful weather.....perfect. wish I was not in the office, need to be in the field today.

Virgil - Howdy - say hi to the newleyweds for us as well. Hope all is fine with you and no serious emergencies in the hospital. (Little ones are fine).....

Stacey - what gives?

Jim/Sharon/Lisa -- best of luck on the trip.

Diane - are you as excited as I am about F/W....my mouth is already watering. I can't wait.

GaRRy - come down here, it is nice.....and cool. yes, I am packing sweaters for F/W....WHEN by the way ARE you coming?

Suzanne - greetings to you as well....and remember to send me the bracelet when you have time. I'd like a 4 day a week job, even if it were for more hours a day, but just does not work in private practice...

Mary - We'll be seeing Keith and Joe soon......dinner at Kat's resturant. Wish you - and EVERYONE could join us, but alas, no-one has invented teleportation yet. Hey Virgil, Nick has some free time...ask him. I am ready to "beam".

Babies - ok, not the human kind and not the horsie kind, and not the doggie kind, on the kittie kind front, ours is blossoming. It is amazing what a few months of good care will do for a neglected cat. She is looking like a true Persian. We will see how she fluffs up this winter.

Everyone have a GREAT week. As Jim, said, Life is Good, and that is true.

Please say a prayer for us ... going meet with Ashley's teacher tomorrow afternoon. We're only 6 weeks in to school and it's been a BAD year already. My parents both were in public school education for 30+ years so I always give teachers the benefit of the doubt. But, this teacher is ridiculous! I've been really stressed about this for over 2 weeks now & I need some peace in my life.

Thanks!
Ang

 So sorry to hear and best of luck in working this out.

Angie, I've been thinking of you and Ashley this afternoon. Had a little talk with God last night.....I was hoping He could remind that teacher why she wanted to work with young minds in the first place.:littleangel:

Thanks everyone for the prayers! I really appreciate it & do think they helped. The teacher is taking positive steps so let's hope (prayer on my part) they continue. Although she was willing to work with us, we still didn't walk away with that warm-fuzzy feeling. So we decided to meet with the asst. principal today. Hopefully things will continue to move in a positive direction & we won't have to have her pulled from that class.

Thanks for the update Ang. Continued prayers that things keep moving in a positive direction.

Angie, keep us posted. I've been through that for sure. I think I was "that Mom" at the grade school. But you've got to go to bat for them!

There's some excitement in the Eddy household. It seems Alicia might be going to work at the Apple Store. She got through two interviews and got an e-mail asking for information for a background check this morning. This is good, since she has decided to major in Computer Engineering. So there may be even more Mac products in our future - at a discount!

I hate drinking BLACK COFFEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

should have went to the store last night

GOOD MORNIN ALL

saw the space station go over again

almost done with all hay and summer stuff must cut grass 1 more time ONLY !!!!!!!

Yesterday and today are full of good news and bad news.

Yesterday's good news is that I was offered a job and accepted. :thumbsup2

The bad news is that I accepted a job and have not been unemployed enough to really enjoy it yet. There were some fun things I wanted to do before going back to work.

It's a very similar situation to what I just left. A firm decided to open in an office here so they hired our old staff.

It is local, I'll still be able to wear shorts and t-shirts, and Clover will be the office dog. For a while we will all be working out of our homes which will be nice, for a while.

Today, the good news is that Sharon ran 23 miles!!! I'm really proud of her and never thought I would see her get up at 2:55 am to be running at 4:00 am. She did great today. She is back in bed now.

YAY!!! Good for her! And you, too!
