An update on little Roger from his Dad. Seems they got his blood sugar up so he never had to go all the way to NICU.


As for the wedding cruise. I think we'll have to take a pass on that one. Still paying on Alaska and with my recent cut in pay that's going to be hard enough.

Thank you Virgil and Mary for keeping things updated here. The nurses had even told us they'd sent Roger to the NICU, so imagine how surprised Dave and I were when we went up there to see him, and they didn't have him!!
But that was great news. He turned himself around on his own and is doing great now. Of course, he's beautiful, wonderful and perfect. What else is a Grammy to say??

The really awesome thing is that I've had Ronan with me at my parent's house, spending the night, so I see him at night and the better part of the day, then his Daddy comes to get him so that I can spend the afternoon with Megan and Roger. So for now, until they go home, I get to see plenty of both of them.

Ronan's virus seems to have passed, but he's still not allowed at the hospital.
My wrist feels WAY better today, and I'm really hopeful that tomorrow it will be good as new. Should have never doubted the good doctors!

Guaranteed, Jared would love to sail on the Dream. Jay & I had made a bargain that we'd not go anywhere until we can go to Hawaii....and I think we were talking 2012 for that.....so I'll have to see what he says when I get home.

Yesterday was a good day to dive!!!!

Stacey - I understand the timing issues with hubby. I mentioned to 2011 wedding DREAM cruise to Sam yesterday. Timing was perfect - right after a wonderful dive. ...I expected

Instead it was , until I mentioned the date we'd love to come but are very hesitant about booking, so we will wait and see.....my idea is to plan to go (ie take the time off work), but not book until the week before. That will be taking a chance with cabins etc, but about the best we can do with the date selected. At least right now.....

Sam's idea is to get the kids to change the date of the wedding until JANUARY 2012.

I need some bubble wrap like Stacey. We went to the Smoky Mountains this weekend. I stumbled & fell to my knees. My right knee is pretty banged up. I even have a scratch on my shoulder.

Home this week with the girls. They don't start school until Monday so we're trying to enjoy this last week of freedom.

Our kids (well, not mine personally) are already back in school....We pass them on our morning walk. In my opinion 6:15 in the morning is way to early to make kids stand at the bus stop.

I've been staying at Megan's 24/7since Dave went back to work. His parents arrive on Monday, so I'll get a little "off" time next week. After that, I'll probably come over for the daytime only.....these two need to get into a routine that works for them, without the extra pair of hands.

Don't think I posted this, but Kevin did spend a day in the water with Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. Said Daniel Craig is a little guy, and very funny. Neither of which I would have thought. He met John Favreau too, he's the director. He is also an actor and you will recognize him, but you might have to look him up. He was impressed at how much fun is had working on a movie set. Nice work if you can get it!

So ready for a vacation and cooler weather. Is it October yet?

Michigan seems quite the place to shoot movies these days too. We had Al Pacino here last summer, Miley Cyrus is currently here and more set to to come. My husband's cousin is trying to break into acting but has only had some very minor parts thus far. He is definitely bitten by the bug!

They shoot a lot of westerns in our town, just finished one in fact. No big stars in this last one, though, but they were sure there a long time. I never seem to run into any of the stars when they're here anyway.
