Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

It sure is. That's where Mark and I honeymooned back in 1990 at the Grand Floridian on the Grand Plan.

UTOP with Irene and honeymoons.

PDFG and congrats to the bride and groom to be.

If we cannot have a reunion on the ship, maybe we could have a reunion during the honeymoon....

Thanks for the congrats - not sure I am ready for them yet

I am not ready to be mother of the bride :scared1:

I got to find out the date on Facebook - guess it's a good thing I'm DD's FB friend. (she did call her dad and tell him- maybe he was napping).

I don't think they are talking about a Michigan wedding - but Chris is in Colorado- so it could still be cooler weather. She is supposed to be back from her visit Thursday - so maybe I will learn more then.

I agree WDW is always the right place for the honeymoon - it is were we spent ours (springtime at WDW is beautiful). What are the dates for F&W in 2011 - maybe they will work that into the plan. princess:

September 30 - November 13 :goodvibes

;)

But I do promise that after she's married a while and there's a baby announcement for Vanessa, I'll let Vicki tell. :worship:

Let's give Vicki a little time to get used to being mother-of-the-bride before we start talking about grandbabies!! :rotfl:

And besides, YOU need to be next in the grandbaby department!

I've basically been told "don't hold your breath!!!"

They're raising their doggy "Hugo" at the moment and claim he's the "Litmus Test". If they don't kill Hugo, they'll consider having a baby!!! :headache:

:rotfl:

(actually, my son is ready, my DIL isn't quite there yet. Good thing I'm not a meddling MIL!!!)

Wouldn't it be fun to have a mini one to take to WDW? Like starting from scratch.

Speaking of which, when is Rowan's first trip?

I just need a windfall and I could take all three of Kevin's grandbabies (plus two parents). As long as I pay for everything!

I'm not taking any of them until Mom and Dad are able to pay their way. I might take Ronan, if I could just take him by myself. I think all kids need to be at least 3 or 4 before they're ready to tackle the World.

Love the pictures Stacey. And what was Garry celebrating.

We are celebrating tonight. Kevin's Birthday, and we have a 20 year old bottle of Heitz Cabernet to drink that I got an estate sale. Just hoping they stored it properly!

Movie update, he's going back next week to work with Unit 1, the one with the stars. He will be in the water with Daniel Craig. Still no Indiana Jones though.

Catching up on a lot I've missed - it's easy to tell everyone is back in town...:)

 Daniel Craig... I always thought I was a Roger Moore girl but then Timothy Dalton came along. I've since dumped him for Daniel Craig...

For the record, I had a hard time picturing Pierce Brosnan as 007 - too pretty and too Remington Steele... :lmao:

Actually the Midwest can be beautiful in October (says this October bride).

Chiming in as another October bride - the midwest with all of the fall colors, especially Michigan, is beautiful in October - well maybe not the UP - there just might be snow.

Beautiful!!!

You're right. I'd almost forgotten that my brother was married in late September and it was gorgeous. No strapless gown for her, either, but she never would have worn one anyway.

Congratulations to Vanessa! :cool1:

Yes, I always said I didn't want to be married in the summer, I didn't want to deal with a wedding dress and the heat. So for an October wedding, I chose navy blue velvet and blue taffeta long dresses for the girls. My dress had long sleeves and a high neck. It was over 80 degrees in Illinois that day...Go figure.

OK - after a whirlwind 3 weeks, I am hopefully done with driving for awhile. :drive: Mike was up at the University of North Texas (40 miles north of Dallas) for two weeks of Jazz workshops. There was a concert at the end of each worshop, so that meant three 10 hour round trips in three weekends. Picked him up and then drove the kids down to San Antonio to watch the the Drum Corps Southwestern Championships on Saturday and Sunday.

TS Bonnie fizzled out and John was able to fly from New Orleans into S.A. to join us for a few days of fun. Mike was supposed to start marching band practice tomorrow but, on our way home we received word that there are major repair issues at the high school. so the building will be closed for the rest of the week. A two day extension of summer... :cool1:

Maggie leaves Sunday for Texas A&M Galveston for veterinary medicine camp. Thankfully, that's only a 25 minute drive...

Ahhh...the good old days of all that driving.....I don't miss it one bit.:car:

I'm hoping to not do any more school bus runs this year. Only the Seniors are guaranteed parking at the high school, the Juniors (Jared) enter a lottery to get a pass. Parking passes cost $100.
None of our schools planned their parking well at all. Our campuses are huge, with tons of wasted space, and never enough parking. :sad2:
Most kids end up preferring to take the bus, since parking is such a hassle. But they don't have "late" busses any more, so if the kids are in sports or a club and have practice or activities after school, then they either have to drive, or parents come get them. It's such a shame.
