Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

At least the sculpture would be harder to lose than the original Scoopie! :lmao:
I like the one he donated for the Breast Cancer auction better. I'll have to post a picture of it. And it's smaller, so it wouldn't cost as much to ship. Oh wait...too late, he donated it! He'll just have to make more this winter, when they get the ovens up and running.

I wasn't invited to the Clinton affair either. :confused3 Surely an oversight. Or maybe someone heard what I said about Mr. Clinton! :rolleyes1

This is the donated sculpture:

I might be going to Omaha a week ahead of schedule. The doc is talking about taking the baby early. Test results will be back Monday and they'll decide. They already knew that they might take him early, but this would be even earlier. They worried about pre-eclampsia again. Blood pressure is high and there's protein in her urine. (sorry, that's probably TMI)

The original scoopie is still here. He's in Maggie's room; given the state of her room, an elephant would be difficult to find. :scared1:

Great idea! Even The Stanley Cup has an escort... :thumbsup2

Not even close to being invited to this affair. Wasn't invited to the Bush daughter's wedding and we live in the same town as Senior - practically neighbors!

I wouldn't even TRY to find something in my kids' rooms.:sad2:

Most important message first....saying a prayer for mom and baby. Please keep us posted. On to the sculpture - I think gaRRy might need an escort to escort the sculpture. If you start with me it will just be a hop, skip and a jump to start the sculpture tour!
Alexa came home from camp today. She had a blast but she is definitely a city girl. She had me laughing.

Thanks for the good wishes. She's in really good hands, with her own OB and also a specialist, so I'm positive all will be well. I'm just dying to see what his little face looks like!!!

Alexa must be my kind of girl! I made the counselors call my mom, the one and only time I went to camp. I hated it. I've never liked being dirty. Or eating soup from a pot where they dumped every concievable kind of can soup into it. I really hope they've stopped THAT disgusting ritual!:crazy2:

Last year, the kids began pursuing university camps that are related to their career choices Maggie thought she hit the jackpot when she had to share a room with one girl, bathroom with 4, plus the dorm was air conditioned.

Mike loved college "camp" life. A teenaged boy's dream: Unlimited dining plan, cafeteria open all day with access to the ice cream machine. He didn't realize he was "roughing it" - 1940s dorm, the furniture didn't move and a community bathroom. He did ask me to bring his pillow for the 2nd week, the pillows were tagged with "Texas Correctional Institute Services" and encased in heavy vinyl. :rotfl2:

Just wanted to let everyone know, I'm flying out tonight rather than tomorrow night. Megan was in the hospital last night, the pre-eclampsia is getting worse.
I'll be skipping my xrays, but no choice there.

Will keep you posted.

Safe travels Stacey. We're keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. All will be fine -- Megan & baby are in good hands.

Prayers and Pixie dust and more prayers going out for the grandbaby!!!!

Stacey - safe travels, you should be there now, I think.

Keep us posted when you can.

And a little guardian angel to look over the wee one:littleangel:

Now that's a PLAN!

But I still get October:goodvibes

We dove the bridge again this Sunday. No seahorse - but a sea robin.

Bridge diving is hard. And I do have to work on bouyancy.

hey Jim - how come the 2 pound float makes so much difference? Is it because the water is so shallow? any hints?

I carry the float since Sam carries the camera. It has a 2 pound weight so that I can leave it at a site and swim around. But as soon as I let go of the weight - I bob to the surface unless I release air. then I pick up the weight and I sink to the bottom (luckily it is sand). I have to inflate to swim. It seems I am constantly purging. Should 2 pounds make that much difference?

No problem with air, I ended with 2000.....

thanks.

First, why are you setting the float down? You are carrying it for a reason.....to let boats know there are divers below. If you set it down and get blown off of it you are putting yourself at risk.

You should be diving with safety first in mind. You can still explore the area with a float. It is more difficult, but safer. What would Red say?

Shallow waters are the most difficult to maintain bouyancy. 2 pounds can make a difference.
