Is it unusual to have those storms at this time of year?
Never mind...I just realized that the 35th anniversary of the worst tornado in Omaha history was last week. Don't know how I could forget that!

Rain is very typical, storms like those? Not so much. Had large amounts of flash flooding happening right during the morning rush hour. No washouts like you got, but lots of roads closed, flooded basements, etc..

Had a guy here in a Hummer that did that. He told the sheriff that he thought it would FLOAT.

Stupid people should not be allowed to drive.

So now because of idiots like these, the have a Stupid Motorist Law. That's actually what it's called. If you have to be rescued, you pay a huge fine....I want to say it's maybe $3000.

still flooded areas basement getting dry, last afternoon was SPOOKY !!!!!!!!!!
dead calm temp was going up .
we had low 50's toledo had low 70's about 20 miles south of me.
it was making the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
farrier is coming today.
way to much mud !!!!!!!!!!!!! and water.

SO anyone going for the luanch today??????????????????????

not me stuck in the farm.

Sorry you are underwater Honey - it is sunny and beautiful here.

Yes I made it to the launch - it was a glorious day spent with a couple of friends from work and DD (she has relocated to Tampa-after a VERY, VERY Long drive from Orlando-car trouble that ended in a 40 mile tow bill )

Here is our new little one - Kukoki Lilia - she found us Easter Monday at Twilight - hence her name Dusky Lily - she was a skinny 6 pounds and needed a bath and treatment. Now, she is making her way into our household. But she is Sam's cat - no mistake about that.

I tried all the websites and the County lost and found. She is now "legally" ours....she is a love - wonder what happened to her folks?

Stacey, I think I did see that cake when I briefly opened my Facebook page. So, I want to know too. Was there frosting under the flowers? Frosting is the best part!

Lots of excitement here about the wedding cruise. I'm very jealous. I did get a card for a $999 Med cruise. Can't do that either.

We got our daughter back yesterday but haven't seen her much. Starbucks is having Happy Hours for their new frappucinos and she has been working a lot.

Irene, did you ever hear the story about the time Stacey, Vicki, myself and our kids went running in the rain at WDW? Your new kitty is adorable, btw.
