Here is an Early Merry Christmas to everyone. We leave tomorrow morning at 7:30 for WDW. Believe it or not, I think I am packed. I have one carryon suitcase packed with Christmas gifts and then my big suitcase which has all of my stuff plus the cologne sets I had bought for my brothers.

Hoping and praying that everyone has a blessed and safe Christmas.

I liked the two Norwegian cruises we did. Especially the first one, on the really small ship. The second one didn't have very good food and we had a pretty nasty storm the first night that kind of set us off on the wrong foot, but I still really enjoyed it.
I did NOT like the Princess cruise on the Caribbean Princess. It was a huge ship, I felt lost all the time, none of the crew or officers were very friendly, except when it seemed they were forced to be because we were with the Mirage group.
This Carnival ship is older, not as big, so we'll see.
Also trying a different Norwegian for Alaska, so I'm anxious to check it out, too. Both have a pool slide for adults, so I'm debating on trying that out. I'm kinda clumsy, though...so not sure if that would be a good idea or not.

Kevin and I went to see Avatar tonight. Amazing movie. Even if you hate going to the theatre, try to catch this one with a HD big screen and 3D.

No snow, finally sun,relatively warmer, but no cookies. Plenty of homemade pie here! Blueberry, Apple Cranberry Raisin, and French Silk Chocolate Pie! Yum! Oh, yeah - can't forget the Chocolate Fudge Pie that a girl in band gave Mike...

That was the FIRST NCL cruise!! It was pretty doggone wonderful from start to finish. GREAT meal the night before, great weather, and a really friendly crew.

It was that second one out of New Orleans that had its ups and downs. Literally.

Good Afternoon folks - How did it get to be December 21st so quickly? What happened to December 1-20th?

For those of you in the snow and ice storms - stay warm and safe as well.

We saw the Disney Christmas Carol movie finally on Saturday - we could not bring ourselves to see a Christmas movie earlier -- meanwhile we did miss the one in 3D.

Has anyone seen Princess and the Frog? It was playing at the same time which explains why we had the theatre almost to ourselves.

How did you like A Christmas Carol, Irene? I haven't seen it yet, thought maybe I was tired of the same old story, but this one looks pretty good.
Haven't seen Princess and the Frog, but I've heard it's really cute, too.

Maybe I'll get to see a movie on the ship this weekend....albeit probably not a Disney movie....that is if they even have a movie theater.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately but I've been worried. had a mammogram done last week and they called and said I needed a follow up exam. You know me - thinking the worst. The follow-up was today. I got some good (not great but good news). It wasn't anything they felt was a concern at this time. So no biopsy needed. I do have to go back in 6 months for a follow-up which could lead to a biopsy or could prove it is nothing. So for now I'm breathing a sigh of relief and ready to enjoy the holiday!

Prayer request please. Jared's girlfriend Hannah & her family found out this morning that her oldest brother, who lived in Flagstaff AZ, has died. Further news reports that he was murdered.
If you think of it, please pray for strength for the Morgan family.
