Wishing everyone a WONDERful year!

We are back home after our 24 hour New Years Eve Party. We sure do know how to have a great New Years Eve!!

Thanks to Sam and Irene for the bed. I wish we could have spent more time, but we were on the road at 7:00 am. The poolside fire was nice.

I completed the Peanut Island race, 101 miles in 23 hours. I'm moving a little slow right now, but everything is still working fine.

Sharon and Lisa were a great crew. Lisa had a great time. Sharon just survived.

Back up at 4 am tomorrow to start training for the next race. :rolleyes1

Jim, "you are an idiot". :lmao: I am preparing a Hogmany Feast for little ole ladies.

Congratulations - short times are better than no times.....
We had fun as well....

Congratulations again.

Happy New Year DIS'ers! Very quiet here, getting ready to go to WDW.

Alicia and I will be there for a week starting Jan. 5, then over to Universal for a couple of days. She hasn't been in two years, should be fun, and the weather looks a bit nicer. LMK if any of you will be around next weekend. We are in a studio at BLT the first five nights. Tried for a 1 BR, but no go.

I won't take that personally.

I need to clarify my comment "Lisa had a great time. Sharon survived."

They were both great crew members. They kept me feed and bandaged. They ran with me when I really need their support.

Sharon surviving is only referring to sleeping in a tent in 20 MPH winds. Any notion that Sharon did not do a good job crewing is totally false.

She did a great job and I'll be pleased to have her on my crew next time.

hee hee hee hee hee hee....

Great job on your crew - and they ran with you as well....above and beyond.

20 mph winds - YIKES:scared1: I did not realize they were that strong.

Did you guys have fireworks?

How about party boats?

AND A U-TOP WITH Jim and his super crew - Sharon and Lisa.
Extra pixie dust for GaRRy....

And the $75 does not inlcude wine...

For the maiden voyage - there are no ressies to be had, so decision is made for us...the main dining rooms - trying something new...

The menu intrigues us; for $75 wish it was a wine paring menu. RCCL has Portofinos, their surcharge restaurant, while excellent, not quite as good as Palo. On a typical evening $20/charge per person - well behaved kids over 13 may attend, under 13 may also attend before 7:30 and must also be well behaved. And the adults also experienced the 5 course wine paring menu - $55/pp wine included. Their glasses of wine with each course was very generous!

Adding: really want to try Remy in July, but we're going with family & young kids so, probably not this time. I have a feeling the menu will be changing - Disney cruisers seem to be more meat & potatoes type cruisers. Not a put-down - just an observation as DCL caters to more of a family cruise demographic.

Monica, I hope it doesn't change before we get to try it! No idea when that might be. We would be excited about the wine tasting you go to pick your wines for dinner. Sounds like fun!

Happy New Year everyone! I know I'm a little late. Today is the Epiphany which also kicks off carnival season.

Jim, glad you had a good weekend. Sounds like you had a great support team. I do think you're a little crazy, but then again I think my husband's crazy for running 26 miles.

Today Bruce sent me an email with a link to the Dream at PC. My husband does love me. He's not the Disney fanatic that I am but at least he feeds in to my addiction sometimes.

Hope everyone has a happy & healthy 2011!!!
