Frances NEVER gets on the DIS....and Sharon rarely does.....I am not holding my breath for a report, unless our Lisa is a sweetheart and does it!!! :flower3::flower3::flower3:

What I heard - they had a good time... Frances likes the Magic/Wonder better - too many people. Ann Marie was there server in Palo - Sean has resigned.... Lauren and Jessie enjoyed parasailing....

They had a great time.

Sharon and Lisa had much the same impression Dream has to many people. Prefers Magic. The Dream enhancements did not out weight the increased number of people. One example, the Spa and exercise area is actually smaller, but there are more people.

Chuck from the travel agent was there. He says that he is also hearing this from the veteran cruisers, but the new cruisers love the Dream. It appears to come down to a matter of preference.

Sharon and Lisa will need to do the report. I was not there.

I've had a feeling that some of the areas were going to feel more crowded....like the adult pool area. There are some things that DCL "fancied up", but in doing so, made them less spacious.
Having been on a few ships that are larger than the Magic and Wonder, I don't think the added people will bother me. You just have to learn to work around them, like not going to dinner at the exact time and ending up standing in line. Better to wait in the room for an extra 10 minutes or so, and then walk straight in to the dining room.

REPORT REPORT REPORT --- GEEZ - I DID A HUGE TRIP REPORT...NOT SURE I FINISHED IT THOUGH :rotfl: Sounds like me..

Oh, you are talking about the girls cruise....Not all about me:confused3

Let's see....we can fix some of this.

1. Jim was not there...OK that is fixed if Jim takes the wedding cruise, I mean last minute.....and it is only Lisa's Senior Year - who needs to attend classes? Exams - :lmao:

2. Too many people....OK can't fix that - but can you fix the time using the Spa and exercise area?

3. New cruisers vs. Vets - and Chuck's comments....Yes, smaller is better, I liked the older WDW when it was smaller as well...but I think some of it is leaning a new ship and the new system.

4. Lines - Staey - you have that right. I could not imagine the line for dinner....we soon realized we should wait in the room for 10 minutes. Of course the room we were waiting in was pink.

5. Adult pool - no crowds when it is freezing outside :rotfl:

So, I guess I just have to go on more cruises to compare.....:woohoo:

There is a picture of Sharon, Frances and the girls on the All Seas page on Facebook!

Girls Cruise Recap:

Frances took Lauren and her friend Jessie and I took Lisa and Bugs. So, two Moms and four sixteen year old girls. We all had a lot of fun.:cool1:

Day One - We were the first group who boarded after Concierge. We went up to the Spa to book the girls in the new teen "Chill Spa". (You can't book online. Believe me I tried. I was up at midnight on day 120 ) They each book a massage. There is only one person who gives the Teen massages, so they had to book one right after another on Nassau morning.

We ate at Enchanted Garden. The food was good, but it was crowded feeling (a theme throughout this cruise). The girls left to explore the ship after lunch and Frances and I started the unpacking process. I liked the basic layout of the new rooms (especially the new showers which are circular and have multiple shower heads). I HATED the new lighting system. I never did figure out a good way to turn on one small light without turning all of the lights on to some extent. We all used our I-Phone Flashlights at night to get around!!!:rotfl2:

Thanks to Irene, we knew to play the Mouse Detective Game right away. It was a lot of fun, but it was VERY crowded by the end of the cruise in front of the various paintings.

We saw the new show "Villians Tonight". I liked it. I was glad to see a different show than they have had in the past. We sat up in the Balcony and could see very well.

We ate at Animators Palate the first night. I really like the upgrades to that restaurant, especially Crush talking to the various tables. He talked to Jessie at our table.

I went and saw a movie the first night, while the girls went to their program. This turned out to be the highlight of the cruise for my girls. They LOVED the VIBE. They spent a lot of time in the program which has happened in years for Lisa (probably since the 2004 Cruise).:worship:

The girls ended their evening by doing the Aqua Duck at Midnight.

Day 2 was at Castaway Cay. Lauren and Jessie went Para-Sailing. The rest of us went snorkeling. We saw a lot of fish and Lisa even found a lobster. After lunch (without chocolate chip ice cream:sad1:), the girls left for the slides and their new friends. Frances and I enjoyed the beach, but it was CROWDED. We went on the Aqua Duck. It took us about 20 minutes to get on, so it wasn't too bad. It was FUN!!!!!

Sorry, this was the night for Villians Tonight (there were two comics on the first night). I am trying to do this from memory.:rolleyes1

We ate in Enchanted Garden.

Day 3 was the Day at Sea. Frances and I worked out (small) before going to Palo for brunch. YUM!!! I like the layout of the tables at this Palo better, they were more spread out. We did not eat at Remy's. We are saving that for next years "Lisa turns 18 Cruise".

We ate at Royal Palace. Our table was in a smaller room which made it very nice. Lisa, Lauren, and Bugs loved their escargo (sp??). Jessie however couldn't even eat one. She stuck with the kids menu many of the nights.
All of the girls "clean up" well and looked beautiful.

Day 4 was Nassau. After the spa treatments for each of us we headed in to Nassau. The girls had attended the shopping presentation and had all of their "coupons" for free stuff!! This expedition would have driven Jim CRAZY, but the girls had fun collecting "trinkets and trash". Then we were off to the straw market. Jessie had never been there. Both Lisa and Lauren purchased "knock-off" purses. Frances and her girls then went to Senior Frogs. My girls wanted to get back on the boat so they could see "Lemonade Mouth" on the Jumbo Tron. I went to the newest Pirates movie in 3D.

We ate in Royal Palace again for Pirate Night. We didn't even want to attempt to get near where the show was (it was too crowded to even see the Sail Away Show), so we sat up in the adult area and watched the fireworks in comfort.:thumbsup2

Then the girls were off to their program and the mid-night showing of the Pirates Movie in the Walt Disney Theater.
