We used to do the late hours at MK and loved it. Now that no one pays is it too full. How long do you wait for rides. We will be there in early August.

EMH is great! Even though it is free now, only resort guests are allowed in. Additonally, you must also obtain a wristband by presenting your resort id to be swiped. At the entrance to the rides, CMs are supposed to check everyone to make sure they have the wristbands. The ride waits are not very long at all.

We like doing Evening EMH but skip the morning EMH. Last time we went (July last year) Lines did vary, Epcot seemed to have the longest lines for evening EMH which meant we left quite quickly. We plan to do Epcot, MK and AK evening EMH's when we go in September.

I think it is a hit or miss type of thing. Last summer we were there for a late night at MK. We had no line for BTM but when half the group went off to SM there was a long line. I do know that the later you are there the smaller the lines will be.

I agree with the hit or miss thing.

We went to MK in early May and I could not believe that the line for IASM was out the door. It moved constantly so it was not a problem, but it seem much more crowded than the extra hours when you had to pay for it.

One good aspect was that we did not have to leave the park after the fireworks with a million of our best friends. It was much easier to exit the park later.

On another nighe we ran into a couple who had just done EMH night at AK. They said they walked right on everything and were able to ride 2-3 times in a row and all the animals were roaming about too. Guess they were getting ready to go back to their houses.

Since there is no longer a charge, I'd say 'go for it'

We did our very first nighttime EMH over Presidents Day weekend this year. MK closed at midnight, we got there about 11:30. It was absolutely dead. We stayed until 3:00am on the nose.. it was cold that night.. foggy.. There were 3 adults and 3 kids. The kids would get off of one ride, and yell where they were going next and starting running to the next ride. We rode every single available ride in those 3 hours. We told the kids we'd stay for a LITTLE bit ( we were there at twirlmania, so the girls spent most of their time twirling and not at the parks) and then before you know it.. it was 1am, then 2am.. then as we were getting back to Tomorrowland where we started.. it was 2:59 and they couldnt get on anything else. Those girls were still going stong!!!

Whew.. the next day sure was tough!! lol

When I was there back in Jan., the longest line was to get the wrist bands. I can't imagine what the wrist band line looks like during busy times.
