I have a request for a 2 bedroom OKW for Oct. 30th, 2004. I have seen a few 2 bds. show up now and then on II. Does anyone think I have a chance? Thanks. Anne

It would be a HUGE long shot. Much of DVC is already sold out for that date. Between the low points, the Food & Wine Fest and Halloween, most, if not all, of the rooms are gone. It's difficult to impossible to get that night for points if you own, I'd be shocked if you could get it on trade.

I'd make a backup reservation at one of the regular Disney resorts (which don't get quite as full.) Just my opinion.

you might

surposely MS is now giving II what it wants - that is Choice season - so maybe...

however if you need to stay on Disney property - I would also get a back up reservation.

II will try and talk you into one of the Marriott, if they know closer to your time that they can't give you DVC.

If you were looking 11 months out you might have a chance but not likely now. If you do match, it's likely be be inside 2-3 weeks before the week.

Also remember that II charges you a $100 "resort fee" for the privilege of transferring in addition to the transfer fee (we pay $129 to transfer in). It was a surprise to me the first time & I'm still a little bit irked by it.

If you can afford to wait, you never know what the waitlist will bring.

A small savings I know but the "resort services fee" is only $95.

Thanks for the replies. I do have a back up reservation but I'll wait and hope until the 2 week out time.
