I took that at around 8AM this morning.

This is what our skyline here looks like unless it rains. Yes we have 2nd worst air quality in USA, right behind Los Angeles. Still there is always worse, never thought I'd say it, but Beijing was terrible compared to here.

I would not leave my house without flatironing my hair. When my flatiron would not work in China, I told my boss I'd rather walk through the streets naked than go out with my hair undone.

I'm afraid to say it on here with Kimmar's skills, but my raw hair makes me look like Don King. Even my husband, who would never say an unkind thing to me, has to turn his head so that I don't see the laughter.

I feel your pain! You should see me at the beach - my hair stands straight up in the wind, my bangs get all frizzy and shrunken, I hate it! I'm thinking of looking into keratin hair straightening.

So you did see me this morning on my way to work? My bangs shrink up to about 1 inch in the humidity. No pretty at all. The rest is just curly so there's not much I can do about it. Had my hair cut and blown straight -- DD loved it, said I should do it that way all the time. Tried it the next day, spent about 1/2 hour on my hair. Went outside and curly, frizzy!. DD told me not to waste my time anymore.

...two teachers at my school have had it one to their hair - it's kinda expensive, but works GREAT!

Kimmar, all of those have applied to me at some time or another. I have the wildest hair. It really could be one of the Wonders of the World.

I haven't thought of trying the keratin treatments. I use Miracle 10 product and it's helped a lot. Between that and a flatiron, I almost look normal. Of course in cases of humidity, the Disney baseball caps are the only way to go.

It's boring hair. It gets kinda wavy, but has a little body. I'm too lazy to do much with it. It just hangs on my head until I get annoyed enough to get it hacked off. I'm trying to donate it, but last time I was an inch or 2 shy when I'd had enough.
