My news was not what I had hoped for either. The CT scan was inconclusive so now I will have a PET scan to determine if the cluster of white cells on my lung is cancer. If it is, they will then biopsy to see if its a metastisis of my former breast cancer or a new primary lung cancer.
But the CT scan shows I have emphesema. So I guess if the cancer doesn't get me, I have that to look forward to.
Serenity Now. Serenity Now.

hope to hear from you soon.
Unfortunately, I don't have a laptop or internet access on my cell, so there will be no real time reports from the House of the Mouse. You'll just have to wait for my return.
Page four??
I will ignore the fact that you all are slacking! ...

PK, people can actually go an entire week without web connection? I can barely go an entire minute.
Snap, Pet scan is tomorrow. They are also scheduling me for a lymph ultrasound because my lymph nodes are swollen too. Yesterday they discussed lung surgery to remove the tumor and chemotherapy. They said they'd have a counselor call me to help me through everything. I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound like anyone is thinking this damn thing is benign. Sounds to me like they think this is cancer but now have to determine if it's metastised breast cancer or a new lung cancer. I was told that many women live 10+ years with metastisized cancer so try not to worry. Of course a new lung cancer would be a worst case scenario. I don't know what the odds are for a non-smoker to get lung cancer. I don't google any of this crap; it's way too scary out there.
At least they gave me some Serenity Now medication to help me cope. I slept like a rock last night.
I was told to go forward with my May vacations to WDW and China; any surgery would be done after that. So I'm trying to practice with my chopsticks. I'm so bad that it definitely keeps me occupied. I think I may have found a new way to lose weight.

Hi everyone. Been busy getting ready for my trip. Leaving Thursday.![]()

Glad to hear that WDW and China are still viable options. And just in case that chopstick thing doesn't work out, pack a fork.
Is there anything you'd like from Disney to help brighten your spirits a little? Perhaps a special Mickey ears hat, or a postcard from a special someone?
...or even a birthday card when it's not your birthday...??

Did you for Pakey, or are you looking for a special treat too?![]()

Guys you are all great and I love all the laughs we have on here. Knowing I have the ridiculous, outrageous and nonsensicle stuff here to look forward to is the best thing you guys can provide.
My husband went out and bought me a dozen pairs of chopsticks last night. He saw me in action; felt I needed a bit more help.
I really hope I don't have to eat dog. Like in Chinese crested.

But now that I see there's a link, I'll catch up. So far I have learned this about chopsticks:
Sometimes it is easier to stab the food that it is to pluck the food.
Kimmar, the birthday card thing is weird.
