Thanks for not ignoring me Pakey. It's not something I wanted to have to purchase now, but too many problems with the old one. I keep spending $100+ each time to have it worked on, only to have problems again. The manager of our Tech Dept. walked me through and helped me chose a new one, plus I was able to access $450 in discounts. And my company allows us to finance (for free) 1/2 the price of a new computer. I pay for it, they cut me a check for 1/2, then they take the money from my paycheck in 12 equal payments over the course of six months. And we can purchase the professional version of Microsoft Office 2010 through my company for $10. Still going to cost me to have the old one fixed so we can transfer the data to the new computer, and I'm paying someone to come in and do the setup, etc., and I have to buy a new printer, but I'm not complaining. Can't afford to mess around anymore with high school starting soon.

Duuuuuude, I'm gettin' a Dell! I got the Studio XPS 8100, 8 GB of memory, 1 TB hard drive. I'm told that should be more than I will ever need, even loading pictures and I-Tunes.

Good choice! I have a Dell XPS 410. It's 3 years old and I love it!
