I know -- my husband would probably get onto me as well. :) But, it drives like a car -- very smooth!

I can see why you've had to "upgrade!"

If this latest truck doesn't cut the mustard, I hear the old Partridge Family bus is up for sale.

Shortly after baby R was born, when S was still in public school, she told the teacher who was helping load the kids in their vehicles that her daddy said we would have to get a school bus if we had another baby.

 I love kids and the things they say, but I have to tell you, I get the biggest kick out of your kids. I always share your stories with DD14 and we both laugh and think you have the most adorable kids.

I cannot imagine ever having a vehicle with such low miles on it after that long! Our last suburban had over 4000 miles on it just from going back and forth to Disney World twice. It was a 2008, bought at the end of April in 2008, and had over 40,000 on it. We drive a lot. :rolleyes1

....my MKZ had only 22,190 milies on it...and I had it for 39 months....

My Solara convertible was 5.5 years old and just turned 25K miles. I think that's why my boss has said the new BMW roadster will be my last company car. I don't put many miles on it since I live less than 2 miles from work. At my age, I believe he thinks the roadster will outlive me.

When I was a kid, my mom's sister, who has 7 children, drove a funeral home family car as their personal vehicle. It was quite embarrassing when they came to visit and that thing was parked in the driveway.

My new roadster is named Elvin. I never named the Solara because I didn't like it. :guilty:

We may never hear from Scotlass again. I think the celebration of Germany beating England in the World Cup has done her in.

Hi everyone. Unfortunately my home computer is infected again. :sad1: Since I basically know nothing about computers, I went and looked at one yesteday. Waiting to hear back from the head of my tech dept. to see what his opinion is. This is an expense I definitely didn't need, but with DD starting high school in September, I really don't have a choice. So, you'll all be able to ignore me on evenings and weekends until I get a new computer.

Ignoring that none of you drive your vehicles enough.

Ignoring PK's broken computer. (We recently had to replace ours, also, and my printer wouldn't support the new computer, which led to a new printer, and we had to get a new modem and router because we think the whole thing was hit by lightning.)

Ignoring Scotlass ingnoring us.

Ignoring Kimmar's Lincoln.

Ignoring cars named Elvin.

Ignoring GP's emissions comments.

Ignoring Dancemom trying to go for the ignoring record.

Ignoring that I saw someone on the budget board who had Pakey's cane twirling egg for an avatar, too.

Ignoring that I am phoneless because baby R wanted it to swim in a glass of orange juice.

...personally, I don't think that you are UP to all that ignoring...:snooty:
