PK, she looks beautiful!!!

GP, do you have a daughter? You seem to be an expert. :thumbsup2

yes and I "made her life a living hell" until she got out on her own.;)

hehehehhee

by then she had enough "tools" to get along without my advice.

I'd appreciate any tips. As of right now, we have 4 daughters.

When my oldest was born, DH said he had the double barrel shotgun ready, one for each, um, you know.

DD seems to be a tough cookie when it comes to the boys. She takes no guff. Her boyfriend said to me "Have a happy mother's day Donna". I didn't want to embarass him by correcting him. Lots of the kids' parents are divorced, so last names are sometimes more frightening than the prospect of using a first name. Later that week DD said to me "who does he think he is calling you Donna? I'm going to straighten that out." Next time I saw him at her softball game, he said "Hello Mrs. K". :rotfl: She also mentioned that he seems to get slightly jealous, to which her response was "That's his problem. He has to learn to trust me or find another girlfriend."

every kid is different. I just went by the theory that if you made it as hard as possible, it forced them to be innovative and think on their feet. I emphasised personal integrity. (If you say something, make it be the truth)

(but having been a teen myself, I know that when the hormones kick in during the teen years, ya gots to be prepaired for their hijinks.;))

FOUR GIRLS? get some serious medication for yourself! I suggest RUM!!!:scared1:

I suggest a career in Law enforcement, after college!:thumbsup2

I think the oldest will be ok. It's the second daughter who already has us worried. The third DD will be fine, also. She's far too tough and bossy. The youngest is still too young to tell much about her personality. We'll just have to make sure all the boys meet Daddy. I'm pretty sure he could scare them.

Did I mentioned DD's dance is on the Spirit of NJ, that tours around the Statue of Liberty and NYC? Did I also mention that we're having a really bad thunder and lightening storm right now?

Where do we keep the little pukey smiley?:sick::sick:

At least it will be memorable. I'm sure she'll be fine.

Sounds like a wonderful way to have a dance. My 8th grade dance was held in the high school cafeteria.

Yesterday it was 92 degrees. Right now it's 54. You're right AlphaMom, she'll have a lot of memories from this dance. ;)

Okay, just blacked out the other girl:

Absolutely beautiful!!! :wizard::wizard:

And, I love the sweater with the dress, very polished! :thumbsup2

Has anyone else noticed that Scotlass has been doing an EXCELLENT job of ignoring all us?

...you were in the MIDDLE of that, last night???!?! :scared1::scared:

Don't need to!! but I find that a long sleeved hoodie is handy to keep the handcuff from chafing, that is attached to the girl's arm and the female security guard hired as the chaperone.:cool2:

....a little too 'over-protective' are we, considering you bein' a pirate and all...
