I'm thinking about getting the Swift and was looking for any comments good or bad.

We want it as a lightweight travel stroller for our 10 month old DDprincess:

Thanks!

I've got it, and think it's a terrific umbrella stroller. Nice seat, good sized basket, decent canopy, 5 pt. harness, recline and very lightweight. It's the one that stays in the trunk of my car and gets used all the time. I'm bringing my Pliko to WDW though, because I suspect that DD (15 mos.) will nap better in that (she's done well with it at DL). Not that she couldn't nap in the Swift, it's just I've never seen her do it. Another minus is no tray. Also, we're staying at the Poly, so we'll have monorail access and won't need to fold/unfold the Pliko as much as we would on a bus. If we were staying at a non-monorail resort, I'd consider the Swift seriously. Again, a terrific umbrella stroller.

Thanks for the replies! I really like the look of the Iglesina and the size but wish it had a couple more things.

Missus Toad...sounds like you and I want the same features in a stroller.

A lightweight umbrella stroller with:

5-point harness
reclines for naps
good cover for shade
big basket
cup holders
tray for baby's snacks

If anyone know of such of stroller let me know :teeth:

The reason I have never bought a Iglesina or McClaren is because I really like a bar across the stroller with cup holders for the child. For this reason we bought a combi travel savey DX. It has it plusses and minuses. It is light weight, folds up great (in on itself instead of like an umbrella.) It has a bar across it and it with cup holders and can be removed. It reclines for nap and the canapy is great. It als has a 5 pont harness, but we never seemed to use it since DD was older when we bought it. One minuse is the basket isn't helpful at all, we hang bags of the back. Some people feel it isn't sturdy, but that is part of the design. It bugged DH at 1st, then he didn't mind at all.

My friend bought one because we loved it so much, but it didn't work as well for her son. He is taller and his tends to drag his feet on the ground. Also they don't like folding the stroller in on it's self since they like using the basket. This defets the puprose of getting this stroller (folds down small) and makes it more inconvent becuase it won'ts lacth or stay closed this way. I think McClarens would be better for taller and heavier kids.

I don't have the peg pliko 3, but many people really do. Does it fold down as nice as an umbrella stroller? My Peg Aira tiwn is really light weight, is the pliko made of the same frame?

I do not think that you can get all the features that you want in an umbrella stroller. Because of the accordian style umbrella fold, I think it would be really hard to find one with a snack tray. I have a Maclaren stroller that I bought an add on cup holder for and I found out that the snap on snack tray from the Kolcraft Lite Sport would fit it, so I ordered a replacement snack try from them. I just have to pop it off before I fold it.
To get all the features you would like you will probably either have to look at a lightweight stroller without an umbrella fold (like the previous poster suggested with the Combi), or build your own one with add on features like I did.
HTH,
Paige

Thank you for all the replies.

Paige, I think you are right....I'll have to "build" my own stroller with added accessorries.

I think the perfect 1 stroller doesn't exist. You seem to need different types of stollers for different occasions and also for the baby's needs.
