There are two adults going to Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival. We will be there for a few hours in the afternoon and a few hours at night for two days. All of our meals will be via the booths on those days. We will likely split many of dishes. We will not be drinkning alcohol but will sample many of the other drinks. (Can't wait for watermellon water.)

How much should we bring with us for each segment of the visit? The thoery is that if we bring less, we'll spend and thus eat less, but I want to make sure that we don't go hungry!

Remembering from last year, it's easy to spend a lot. We shared and still spent around $20 - $30 each over the course of about 3/4 hours. This, however, included wine and beers.

Have a great time! I know we will go again, just not this year.

It can get kind of expensive, especially if you try some of the special events, like Feast for the Senses (held in the old Millenium Village venue). That one costs $79 per person.

Once I knew that we were going to F & W (twice), I started saving change and $1 bills.
I haven't counted the change yet (the jug isn't full) but I ended up with over $500 in $1 bills.
We got back from the first trip a week ago, and including a few wine samples, we didn't spend $50.
We'll be going back (see countdown clock) in about 11 days, and if I take $100.00 down for kiosks, I'll still have about $300 to use during our splurge trip to AKL at the holiday time. Of course that STILL doesn't count the change.
We did share quite a few entrees, and they did have some really good values. However, the Beef Stroganov was served in small bowls last year (much better to mix everything together in), and this year they're using small plates. We'll be bringing our own bowls for our next trip!!
