Truth has finally seen it after several attemps
to get tickets to show times that were sold out.

It seemed to be accurate with all the information
presented and while reasonable people could dispute some of the minor conclusions Moore made personal comments about, the major conclusions seem beyond approach but Truth is glad to try to explain any question to anyone that brings an open mind to the table.

I haven't seen the movie, but I thought the topic of your post was interesting enough to get a little bump.

I saw it this morning and thought it was excellent. I’d like to see it again, because there is just so much information. One thing I can’t seem to remember is, what are the buildings that are across from the Saudi Arabian embassy?

Hi Truth,

I am not much of a debater, so I will just state my opinion. I found the movie to be very entertaining-funny at times, very sad at others..VERY disturbing most of the time.

I am like Diane, I think I need to see it again to pick up some things that I missed. I was one of only about 15 people in the 11:00 matinee last Monday (after being shut out on Saturday), but I laughed out loud sitting there by myself, and cried out loud too. It was one of very few movies in a theater that I have applauded at the end, along with everyone (all 14 of them) else. :)

Give it a rest already. We know how you feel. You know how everyone else feels.

Yikes! Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed!

Box Office Mojo shows that the movie is again number 1 for the day and has expanded to 1,710 theaters. Total gross to date: $32,314,000 (with today's estimated returns).

The Watergate is directly across the Street and the Kennedy Center is next to the Watergate.

Hello hrh_disney_queen,

no worrys, Truth almost never debates anything.

It sounds like your experience was fairly common to most other people who have commented after seeing it in exit interviews.

Did you go thinking you would get more information about the causes or details of the 9/11 events that day ?

That was the hope and disappointment of many people that were aware of most of the information that Mike presented in F911 before the show opened.

Truth would be in this group.

Applause was frequent at the showing we attended also. (Friday evening, 8:00, Tampa, FL.) People clapped and shouted not only at the end of the film but at many points throughout the film as well. One, that I recall, was when the wounded soldier said he was done with the republican party.

Elwood Blues said "In B4 the lock."

Sorry more info please, not catching the reference.

Sorry more info please, who is this directed at and what is " it " ?

On last two examples of psychic ability,
experience would suggest that many people are not that sure how they feel themselves. As for people claiming psychic abilities that seems to speak for itself.

I saw it and thought it was very good. I enjoyed the humor in it and was saddened at some of the war footage.

The biggest thing I came away from it with was that our press could do a much better job. I know often it is portrayed as the liberal press, but I would have liked the press to investigate and present more of this information.

I also think the major conclusions are only beyond approach when someone is already leaning that way. I lean that way, but I'm also realistic and know that there was a great deal of Moore's interpretation of facts and events.

I believe a reasonable person can disagree with some of those conclusions without condemning those who do agree with them.

As you seem to be a reasonable person, I'm going to go ahead ask...after watching the film, what information do you feel the press isn't investigating and presenting? War information, 9/11 information or something else?

Would you mind saying what you feel two of the major conclusions were ?

As for the media doing a better job, it seems Mike should be included in this because there was a much stronger case to be made about several aspects of 9/11, but again it did not seem to have much to do with 9/11 other than saying that some of the main suspects were never held for questioning.

Maybe Mike just didn't think the masses were ready for the RED pill yet.

I had no intentions of seeing this film, but after reading so much about it here I might have to. Just to see what everyone is talking about. I really hate the thought of giving my hard earned money to support MM's propaganda....but I also know that I can't review a movie I haven't seen.

One of the things I'd like to know more about is the attempted
blockage of the Electoral College by the Black Caucus in the last presidential election that not one Senator signed off on. I had no idea this happened and I for one would like more information from Senator's Kerry, Kennedy, Feinstein et al. That point was
very interesting to me but was never discussed in the media that
I am aware of. BTW, I am not looking for any clever political
slams here, just information. Thanks.

It was reported briefly on the news at the time, but since it was a meaningless gesture, it didn't receive very much press.

AFR:

The one that comes to mind are the ties between the Bush's and the Saudis and the bin Ladens, etc. that, according the Moore's presentation, pre-existed 9/11. Another thing is George H.W.'s serving on boards (I can't recall if he was specifically with the Carlyle Group or not) and how that might have the potential for conflict of interest.

I'm not saying I believe what Moore is saying. I'm saying he has raised some questions and discussed some issues that I have not heard of before in the mainstream press. Maybe I missed them; I don't know.

And perhaps it was something that the 9/11 commission investigated and it was not publicized in a place where I saw.

Truth:

My idea of what the major conclusions are may be different from yours as I do carry some skepticism towards "Mike's" reports. I think one major conclusion that he tried to get across were that Iraq was due to an almost personal vendetta of Bush's and 9/11 was used as an excuse to carry it out.... hardly a new idea. Another would be that the public was mislead repeatedly, whether about WMD or our reasons for attacking Iraq.
