did your newly acquired points show up in your account?

TIA

I could book as soon as I got home, but I don't think I could access my account info until 10 days after we signed our papers.

Good news. I'm looking to add points quickly so I can book our Summer 2011 at BLT. I'm looking to book in 9 days! I'll call our designated DVC agent in the morning! Thanks!

I added on to BLT last year the day before it opened for reservation to resort owners.

I called at 2:00 pm and my guide worked magic so that the points were in my account by the time they closed down at 5:00 pm.

I was able to call the next day and reserve my BLT room!!! So, they can make it happen pretty fast.

If you call tomorrow, you will have no problem having those points there in 9 days!

Good luck!!!

Well, we bought while on vacation at Disney and our points were added to our account immediately. But, I believe that if you have a transaction pending, your Guide can make a temporary reservation for you which you can then convert to a points reservation once your points get loaded. :thumbsup2

Depending on how busy Disney is with sales, it can take a couple of days. First your account will appear online, then a different team loads your points.

Yes, your guide can make your ressie for you when you buy.

When we bought BLT this year (our first DVC purchase) he made our reservation that day (a saturday). When I called into MS on Monday morning (as instructed by our guide) we simply converted the ressie into a points reservation.

We wound up closing three weeks later.

When I added on last month I met with my rep on a Sunday AM, and when I got back on Wednesday AM I immediately banked the points I had just added (didn't even have the paperwork to send back to them yet).

Our CM made a courtesty reservation at BLT (held for 3 days) when we verbally said we were buying - to make sure we got our room while the points were being added to our account.

Our initial contract took quite a while as we purchased a resort that wasn't yet open. We were officially members in "May" but didn't receive points until our first Use Year in Oct. Add-ons, however, have been quite quick to process including a Sunday transaction at DLR with points appearing in my account on the "same day"!

The add-on I just did I had the points within hours. Banked them the next day. Called The following day to book a trip with them the day the paper work arrived. Just closed :) Quailty Assuranced called yesterday to Welcome me home again and my guide called today to say Thank You :)

We had to bank the extra set of incentive points immediately and our regular points with our August UY were available to borrow.
