That’s really far out to already know they’re moving you. I wonder if Disney is going to just stick with DVC/FW no matter what the numbers say or reevaluate as the situation changes.
I saw that. Generally good news sources there. Probably true.
It may be true, but that doesn’t mean it’s policy. It seems like we’ve seen a lot of conflicting reports with different CMs doing different thing with different people who were in very similar original situations.

from what I understand, you are only being asked to pay if you change your dates. If you stay with the same dates, you will be offered a choice of resorts. This could change at any point though. Honestly it seems like they are just making it up as they go. We have bookend nights at the pop in Feb. If it is still not open it really doesn't matter to me where they put us as long as I don't have to pay the difference. If they want to charge me deluxe villa rates, I will book offsite.
Ya, I think it has been across the board. Some getting ya you gotta pay, some not, some getting an awesome upgrade, it is very much YMMV possibility. Which the $$$ to upgrade from Pop to a DVC is pretty much absurd to most people. Would be a deal breaker for me.
We've only seen that for people with reservations from before the parks are open. Anyone who has moved from a pre-opening reservation to later has had to pay. We still haven't seen what Disney will do with reservations for after the parks are open.
I know right . Some threads were already posting they heard after park opening is being handled differently. I am already paying deluxe prices , so my special rate better be zero . I would rather sleep in too . I have a feeling I won’t know till the end of next week. Disney communication has been horrid.
