Make sure you get in waiter Al's section. This guy is top notch. It was like he knew exactly when we needed him. Great service. The gf & I were very impressed.

I had the Tesoro Island Chicken (I hope that's the correct name) & it was delicious. She had the Seafood Jambalaya and she enjoyed hers as well.

We had dinner reservations this past Saturday at 5:10, asked to be seated near the water and had to wait an extra 15 minutes. We felt it was worth it. Such a great atmosphere.

Only negative I could think of was a few jerks on one of the PoTC boats were yelling obnoxious comments to some of the diners. Other than that though, the entire experience was just first class.

Highly recommended.

Well, there are a bunch of lady DISSERS going in April to the BB. May be he'll still be there, and we can try and request his area.

Watch out AL! :lmao:

Hey, I had a question about B.B. and rather than making an entirely new thread, I guess I'll just post in here.

I will be going to DL within the next couple of months (First time since 2003). And the first night we get there I was thinking of going to the BB and making a resurvation for the following night, just for dessert. And I want a water seat too. Will they do that? Any suggestions on how I should go about it? And whats the best water section to ask for or get?

Glad to read a good review. DH and I really want to eat there with our girls for the experience.

Get there a bit earlier than the normal 10 minutes and if you don't mind waiting for a bit, they should be able to accommodate your party if its 4 or under. I didn't see any parties bigger than that right by the water. As far as what section? I felt that anywhere near the water was really nice. We sat just a bit to the right if you're walking straight into the dining area.

I don't know if you can just order dessert though. I'm sure someone else here would know the answer to that.

Although I've never ever eaten at the BB. I assume it'd be just like Denny's... you just go in and say: "Can I see a Dessert menu?" I cant imagin them telling you "No."

Or I could just not tell them that Im only there for dessert, and wait to be seated, then tell the waiter: "I'll just have the _____ dessert." Would that work?

I read ONE comment on here that someone had seen another table be told to leave because they wanted to only order dessert. :confused3

But I totally plan on going in for dessert only, and would have already done except that our 3 year old was in a snit at the time of our PSs that day, so we canceled instead subjecting everyone to him.:upsidedow

I don't think you can order just dessert at the BB. If it is a weekday and it is slow (you will know how busy they are by if they are taking walkups) they might let you buy a couple creme-brules!

Me and my girl go often and she is convinced it is the only decent-real food in DLP.

I recommend the pork chops with potatoes and vegetables, really tasty!

One thing you can do at BB is order one entree for two people. The portions are pretty large and it will serve both of us no problem. Remember, you are eating other times during the day so no need to break the bank at one stop. We were just there about 5 days ago and we both got entrees (we usually share one) and we regretted it, one would have been enough.

My favorite thing to do before going into the BB is to ride the POC; then exit and go into BB, if it is at night it is almost seamless as you just exit the ride from the indoor night scene, walk outside for 5 feet to see the NOS night scene only to go back into the night atmosphere of the BB. Enjoy!

We were there on the 4th, we did walk right up and get seated and had a great meal. We got a waterside table and the group next to us had about 8 people. They were also waterside, they simply put 2 tables together and sat the group there.

Three out of the 6 of us ordered dessert with no problem. Service was very good and the food was great. We had waterside but we had to be there at 1115 when they started seating. (Before they were seating at 1130).
