If your non-smoking room had a previous smoker

There have been several threads regarding non-smoking rooms that smelled like ashtrays from previous occupants. We encounted this at BWV. When you request the ozone machine to fumigate the room, BE SURE TO REQUEST THAT THE AIR FILTER BE CHANGED as well. While the ozone machine clears up the immediate problem, every time the fan kicks on, the air is pushed thru the filter which contains all the smelly smoky stuff and is blown all over the room again! We did this at BWV and had no smoke odor after that !

Thanks for sharing. Sure wish those people who choose to smoke in a non-smoking unit would learn some consideration for others!

Yeah its tough when they smoke in anon smoking room, this happened to us on a non-DVC trip to Canada and took 2 days for the smoke to clear up
