"If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme." September 2015 TR

I love DD's Inside Out outfit!

Cute pics at 1900 Park Fare. I love the drawings Anastasia & Drizella did on each other's pictures!

Love the pics on Dumbo! And all the character pictures!

Beautiful PP pics at the end of the night. Sounds like such a fun time at MK!

That is a great family picture!

We rarely have good interactions with non face characters because I don't know what they are trying to say. I'm not sure I would have known that Goofy wanted help getting this bike out. lol

After we left the set and had returned to normal size again, I stumbled upon something I geeked out about...Mr. Gold's Pawn Shop! I think this is SO SO SO cool that they have this at DHS and I had to get my picture taken!

OMG! I was SO star struck too!! Love Rumple!

We found a PP near the Star Wars store, DS just HAD to do this one!

LOVE these!

Which also made for an awesome trick or treat bucket too!

What a great idea!!

Soon Cinderella was saying hello to us, since we saw her at Akershus previously, we didn't need an autograph and she really wasn't too interactive. So it was a quick photo and she moved on.

I met that Cinderella too!!

At this time, we decided to head out. I took some pictures of the castle as we were leaving.

Gorgeous!

Sorry for the delay, my computer crashed and I was without one for far too long. But it's working again and I am back :)

9/9 MK

We got on the bus to MK around 6:55am and got in the early BF line at MK around 7:20.

This was the experience of many many lines that finally ended with us stuck under the tunnel and crammed in by people. It was HOT and miserable. People were getting angry that we hadn't been let in, I think a lot of it was the heat, we all just wanted fresh air away from people.

During this unpleasant experience, a little girl came up and asked me if it was okay to give my kids buttons. I of course said yes, thank you and that it was so sweet. Her Grandma works at the Disney Store and gets them all the time, so she gave them to her Grand-Daughter to give to other kids and spread pixie dust. It was such a nice gesture and sure helped ease our discomfort.

Proudly wearing their buttons (excuse the bad pic of DD, lol)

At 7:55 they finally let us in, I was hoping take pictures but was so worried about getting to Crystal Palace for our 8:00 reservation. Next time, I will make the ADR for 8:15, so I get more time for pictures. I was able to get a couple real fast.

We got in a good sized line to check in, received a pager and waited about 10 minutes.

Once let inside we were led to the best table you could as for IMO. We were the only ones tucked away in this corner with a view of the castle!!!! I was in Heaven! Being able to eat breakfast before the park opened and enjoy the castle view was amazing!

Pooh came by quickly and we got our pictures and autographs with the adorable cuddly bear.

We decided to make a run for it and grab some food before another character came by, but we failed our mission. Tigger was signing our autograph books when we got back, so we jumped in for a few pictures and the kids had fun bouncing with him.

We had a good break time to eat and get some more food before Piglet arrived who was shortly followed by Eeyore.

The food here was really good and it was the cheapest character meal we'd had so far. The sausage, made to order omelets and Pooh's stuffed french toast were the favorites. Once we were finished, we had to wait for our server before we could leave. This ended up being very annoying as he was gone for some time and I had wanted to be outside before the park opened, but that didn't happen. However, it gave us some more time for picture taking.

I also brought this paper with us to take a few pictures for our travel agent who helped us with the trip.

Once outside, we passed the castle and I tried to get a picture, but the humidity was so bad that the lens was foggy, but I still kind of liked how it turned out.

We then went straight to the Mine Train, but it was posted at 30 minutes already just after opening. DD really wanted to ride it again, and looking back I wish we had just waited since we never made it back on.

DD had also been wanting to try Splash Mountain since her friends told her it was their favorite ride in DL. This ride and I are not friends at all, I do not like big drops on rides. Growing up my parents forced me to ride Splash Mountain every trip because we were a family of 7 and always had a log to ourselves, so they loved to get that picture. This was pure torture to me, I cried my way up the hill as my anxiety increased with each foot step. Needless to say, it's not a ride I am fond of at all. However, DD wanted to try it and I decided it had been a good ten years since I'd tried it so we made our way there.

The wait was 5 minutes, but we walked on. As we got close and were getting in the log, DD starts to panic. The whole ride she kept asking when the big hill was and yelling “I WANT TO GO HOME!” It was horrible, I regret going and so does she.

To top off the horrible ride, we got stuck on it at the end for a good chunk of time, but after being terrified, DD just wanted off now! This also meant that our ride picture was long gone by the time we got off. I didn't know at the time that the ride photos are automatically added to your MB, so I was not happy. Our ride was not a pleasant one and we had no proof we even went on, or so I thought. Luckily, DH told me he took a few pictures with my camera.

DD wanted to ride BTMRR, but they were having technical difficulties. We decided to head over to Tom Sawyer Island, but we missed the first raft. They just happened to be training a new employee so we waited for over 20 minutes for the raft to come back (with no passengers).

Once on the island, DD and I played a game of checkers on the barrel, that was pretty neat.

We explored the island after that.

DS loved shooting the guns and thought they really worked because they sounded “real.” LOL, gotta love 4 year olds.

I enjoyed seeing these different quotes from Walt where ever construction walls were.

DD played another round of checkers with DH and after about 45 minutes in the heat, we were all ready to get into some A/C.

Country Bears Jamboree was just the perfect solution. I remember absolutely loving this show as a kid and being devastated when DL removed this. So I was ecstatic to be able to see this show again and share it with my kids. Sadly, it was not as incredible as I remember, but we all still had fun and enjoyed it.

We wandered through shops in Frontierland and then made our way to Adventureland. Aladdin Carpets was a 20 minute wait, I wasn't too keen on waiting, but the kids really wanted to ride.

The best part about this ride was the spitting camels, it was so hot, the water felt amazing! DS was our driver and he kept trying to avoid getting wet though, little stinker. DH and DD had fun with the spitting camel in front of the ride too.

I decided it was definitely time for Dole Whip #2 for DH and I! There is nothing like these when you are so hot. The kids chose some other treats!

After our cool treats, we headed for our A&E FP. Elsa was kinda disappointing, she was just okay. DD was star struck, so I suppose that is all that matters.

Anna was awesome, bubbly and perfect! She even interacted with DS (from a distance) who didn't really want to be noticed since he had an Olaf shirt on.

It was now time to head back to the hotel and swim for a bit. But on the way out we tried to get a PP of our family with the paper thanking our TA, but the PP said she wasn't allowed to take the picture with us holding it. So I took a pic of DD holding it again, DS wasn't having any of it.

After our swim, we caught a bus back to the MK and then the monorail to the Poly. We arrived a little early and browsed the shops. As our dinner ADR time got closer, we checked back at Ohana and there was a HUGE line, the wait was awful and caused us to be late by the time we checked in.

Luckily it wasn't too long before our pager went off and our cousin was leading us to our table. I immediately ordered something I had been dying to try for a very long time...

a Lapu Lapu.

Super yummy! DH wasn't going to order one, but decided after he tried mine that he needed his own.

This dinner was fantastic! DS loved the bread and macaroni, DD loved the salad, DH loved the chicken and shrimp. I loved it all!! But the highlight was the bread pudding, oh my, that dessert was to die for!! DH still talks about how amazing it is and how we need to find the recipe.

This was a fun meal for the kids too, we got fragrant leis, participated in a small parade and did a little coconut and broom racing.

After our amazing meal, we wobbled onto the monorail and headed back to the MK.

We had FP for the Barnstormer. DD and I went on, we had a blast! DS and DH didn't want to go so we used their MB and went again!

DS requested Tomorrowland Speedway which had a 10 minute wait.

We wandered into Fantasyland and DS wanted to go on PP, the wait was 50 minutes. Yikes! But we decided why not. It was a long wait, but the queue was really fun and I am glad we got to experience it. The wait ended up being about 30 minutes.

Our BTMRR FP was ready, we made our way to Frontierland and passed MSEP along the way. So I of course danced my way there, I was in Heaven. DD and I went on BTMRR, I don't recall ever going on this ride at night and wow, I was missing out! It was AWESOME, so much fun at night!!!

We grabbed some drinks near the castle on our way out and Tink flew over our heads, DD was in awe. I was really happy she finally got to see it, since she was sleeping when we saw it in DL. DS was freaking out about the fireworks and we were on our way out of the park to beat the crowds.

Thanks! It was hard finding Inside Out clothes, so I was thrilled when I found this dress for her.

Thank you! Anastasia and Drizella were so funny.

Thanks!

That is a great family picture!

We rarely have good interactions with non face characters because I don't know what they are trying to say. I'm not sure I would have known that Goofy wanted help getting this bike out. lol

Thank you!

Luckily the handlers helped out if we didn't know what the characters were trying to do/say.

OMG! I was SO star struck too!! Love Rumple!

LOVE these!

What a great idea!!

I met that Cinderella too!!

Gorgeous!

Haha, glad I wasn't the only one star struck at Mr. Gold's Pawn Shop.

Thank you!!

Just found this report! Following along! :thumbsup2

Hi! :welcome:Glad to have you reading along!

What a sweet moment during the morning craziness!

Such cute pictures at breakfast! Pooh's Puffed French Toast is so delicious!

The foggy pic of the castle is pretty cool!

I'm sorry Splash Mountain wasn't a good experience :(

Your time on Tom Sawyer Island sounds nice, I love that you guys played checkers!

I'm glad you had such a great meal at Ohana.

I agree, BTMRR is SO awesome at night!

Sounds like a great day overall!

I love the picture of you and DD on Aladdin's carpet ride - so cute!!

Sounds like a good day all in all. And we agreed about the bread pudding at 'Ohana - we deemed it the best dessert in WDW!

Just pipping up to say hi. :) I recall lurking/reading your TR earlier, then losing it, then now finding it again and glad to be able to catch up. Cute kids and great photos!

I enjoyed seeing your pictures of Tom Sawyer Island :) We haven't been out there in years ( ds10 doesn't remember it) and I really wanted to get out there on our trip last month, but we never made it. On the list for next time!

I constantly read reports that Anna was a much better meet than Elsa-wonder why? I know her character in general is more bubbly....

I LOVE riding BTMRR at night :goodvibes Glad you discovered it!

Yes, it was a very sweet moment indeed.

Thanks!

DD has begged for a checkers set since we left Tom Sawyer Island, we even searched surrounding shops in Frontieland with no luck. She is getting a set for Christmas though :)

Yes, great day over all!

Awe, thanks!

We did have a good day!

Yes, definitely agree best dessert we had!

I swear I must have gotten a bad batch if this when I went. Everyone raves about it and I just did not like it. Maybe it's better at 'Ohana!

Glad you guys are having such fun!

Yea..idk. DH and I really enjoyed ours and would get them again.

Just pipping up to say hi. :) I recall lurking/reading your TR earlier, then losing it, then now finding it again and glad to be able to catch up. Cute kids and great photos!

It is hard to make the time to TSI, there is so much to do and that is so easy to bypass. It was a must do for us because DD loved it so much in DL. The kids just love being able to run around and explore. I just wish they had some sort of area to cool off over there.

That could be, Anna is a much more bubbly character.

Yes, SO awesome!!!

9/10 Epcot/MK

Today was our last day in the parks, we decided to sleep in this morning. We arrived at Epcot around 10:30.

We hit up Club Cool, where I had DH try Beverly. Hehe. He was not a fan, but I actually didn't mind it at all.

Then we strolled to WS to see if we could get a pearl mounted on a ring, by the time we arrived we only had to wait a couple minutes for WS to open.

We got to Miksuka, but the only items for pearls were cages, they didn't have any rings. The kids decided to spend their last few dollars here before we made our way to Norway.

DH and the kids had giant doughnuts from a Jeoffrey's stand and we continued on to Kringla Bakeri. I got the famous school bread, this was on my must try list. I was worried it might be too sweet for BF, but it was perfect! Yum!!!

Mexico was our next destination because we wanted to ride Gran Fiesta. I was thankful that the kids watched the three caballeros movie, I think it helped them appreciate this ride a little more. They loved it and so did I!

After the ride, the kids spotted a kidcot station in the Mexican pavillion. They colored Duffy the bear.

It was nearing lunch time, I grabbed some nachos at La Cantina de San Angel. It was such a large portion that we all snacked on it.

Mexican Donald was out, so we met the adorable duck.

The kids had fun with these puppets. If they hadn't spent the last of their money, I have a feeling these would have been coming home with us.

We wandered around the showcase, I stopped at the hand made beaded jewelry station.

They are made from WDW park maps and other out dated papers by people in Uganda. I purchased a bracelet and absolutely love it! I am not a big jewelry person, but I love pieces like this that have a story behind it.

DH looked around the wood carving cart that was next to it, he chatted with the CM who was carving. It was neat hearing him tell us how long certain pieces have taken him and such. DH bought a small wood sword that has Hakuna Matata carved in it!

Next up we chose to check out the American Pavilion. The Voices of Liberty were about to perform and I had heard they were amazing. We picked a spot on the floor and were blown away, they were incredible! There was even a song that one of the female singers started singing and came up to DS and he was so shy it was hilarious!

DH wanted to check out the American Adventure show.

This show was interesting for a few minutes and then it put DS and DH to sleep. LOL.

We were ready to move on from the WS, but I needed to swing by the Beach Club to pick up a shirt. DH took kids to Sunshine Seasons for lunch while I made my way out the International Gateway.

As I was about to exit, I saw Wendy Darling meeting. I tried to snap a picture as I walked by to show the kids, but the CM who was with Wendy told me I should meet her since she had no line.

She liked the treasure I wore around my neck and asked where I found it. I told her my DD gave it to me, she said that my DD must be a very good treasure hunter. She then asked if DD draws treasure maps on her Dad's shirts like her brothers do. She was awesome and I am so glad I stopped. The CM was really great too, he took pictures with my camera for me and after a couple, he said “Ooh let's take more, I really like this camera!”

It was a quick, but hot walk to the Beach Club. I picked up the shirt that was left at the front desk for me from someone who was in our fb group. It was such a sweet gesture and it was an adorable Olaf shirt!

As I made my way out of the Beach Club, I tried to soak up this area, it was just so incredibly beautiful.

Back in Epcot, I took the time to snap some pictures of the WS while I was on my way to meet DH and the kids.

I stopped at Club Cool because after all the walking I was in dire need of a drink or more ;)

DH called, they stopped at Starbucks to get frappuccino and were just getting to The Land.

(I loved how beautiful this was)

I met them at SS, DD chose mac and cheese, green beans and jello, DS chose a chicken drumstick, rice and jello. DH had a hard time deciding since there were so many choices, he decided on sweet and sour pork or chicken (I can't remember), fried rice and chocolate chip cookie.

While the kids ate, I showed them pictures of the Wendy meet and told them what she said, they thought it was so neat!

A CM came over to us and informed us that we were in the Winter section and asked it we wanted to be part in a parade, I said sure. He started to hand us a tambourine and said we had to do it if we took it. No problem, he also said there would be a treat at the end.

It seemed like the parade was taking awhile, DH and DD decided to use their FP+ for Mission Space, but they had to leave now to make it back for dinner reservations. I told them to go and I would wait for the parade.

The CM who gave us the tambourine, was working near by and sees that I still have it. He told us we were supposed to give it back when the parade was done. I said to him we hadn't seen the parade, did we miss it? He said it was done and over with awhile ago and he thought he had gathered everyone. Ooops, we never saw or heard it. We gave the tambourine back and he asked if we still wanted the cookies, I declined. It was just kind of a bummer.

DS and I run over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends and use our FP+ before our ADR. Then head back to The Land.

DH and DD made it just in time for us to check in at Garden Grill. Our food schedule just was so off today because of the late start. DH and the kids had just eaten and now we were having dinner. I wish we had made a later reservation this day.

I loved how they had the plates set up.

Mickey

Minnie

I was looking forward to this meal knowing that portions of it were grown right in the same building and so many people rave about it, but honestly we were not fans of this one. We liked the rolls and turkey the best.

Mickey was first to stop by, he liked DD's Minnie dress and DS' Baymax shirt.

Dale came next.

Pluto stopped by, he had DD scratch his nose and he wagged his tail. The kids thought it was funny.

The best was saved for last I guess, Chip was the most outgoing and interactive of the bunch. He even gave me a hug and DH a high 5.

Mickey came back around again and gave DS a Baymax fist bump, DS thought that was so cool.

Our waitress was very busy which made for slow service, it took forever for our plates to be cleared and dessert brought out.

The spinning of the restaurant even though it was very slow, it started getting to me and I wasn't feeling well. I just wanted to get out of there.

After dinner we made our way to the monorail.

9/10 MK (Sorry for lack of photos, this was our last evening and were trying to soak it all in.)

We got to the TT and then took the monorail to MK.

When we went to DL, we wore our Husky jerseys the day of their first game and I loved getting pictures of us in them. I wanted to do a repeat at WDW, but it was way too hot to wear our jerseys all day. We brought them with us and put them on for a few pictures and then took them right back off.

There was a ride that I had been wanting to go on and we just hadn't made it on yet. It was now time for the People Mover! The kids loved it and wanted to stay on, I loved the SM part.

Earlier in the trip we got Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards, but hadn't used them yet. We took the kids to play that for a bit. It was kind of a pain navigating parade crowds and the kids struggled to get their cards to actually work, but they were addicted, they really enjoyed it.

We got another pack of cards at City Hall and then headed to the WDW RR, DS wanted to ride the train so bad and we had not done it yet. Unfortunately, it had closed already...bummer.

We started heading down the train platform when Wishes started, we stayed and watched it from there. DS was still scared and not happy to be around the fireworks.

After Wishes, we headed to Liberty Square, but that was not a good idea because of all the people heading out of the park after Wishes. We were swimming up the sea the wrong way with a double stroller. Oops.

We made it to Adventureland, DH and DD play in the water from the spitting camel. DD got really wet, LOL. DS fell asleep.

After searching in Liberty Square for the SOTMK portal, it was nearing closing time and we weren't having any luck. DD decided she wanted to ride BTMRR one more time.

On the way out of Liberty Square, we see the portal that we had searched for. There wasn't enough time to do the portal and BTMRR. DD had a hard time choosing, but finally chose BTMRR.

BTMRR had a 10 minute wait, DD and I enjoyed our last ride of the trip and I thought it was a perfect way to end our trip. BTMRR at night is just hard to beat for us, we became addicted.

As we made our way out, we passed the second MSEP of the night. I loved listening to the music and just soaked it all up.

When we got to our bus stop, the electrical water pageant passed by, again perfect timing for us.

Goodbye MK :( I will miss you dearly.

It's back to reality tomorrow and I wasn't looking forward to it.

9/11 Departure Day :(

We slept in and got some breakfast snacks. Then it was time to pack, yuck.

After packing was done, we did a little resort exploring.

I loved how the staircases were hidden.

The kids wanted to climb this one.

We passed this everyday.

Our building.

The kids saw this park and had bugged us a few times to play, but we were always on our way some where. They finally enjoyed this little play area.

It was nearing check out time, we returned the stroller, left our bags with bell hop and checked out.

The kids wanted to play in the arcade the whole trip too, this was a perfect time to do that.

We were starting to get hungry and didn't feel like more Everything Pop food, we decided to take a trip to DTD.

When we arrived at DTD, a CM stopped us and gave DD a wand and DS a sword. Talk about pixie dust, it was pretty neat! Until, he told the kids that these were special. He told them to take Mom and Dad into a store and touch the wand and sword to what ever they wanted and we had to buy it. HA HA HA...not funny sir.

This was as close as they got to a toy store, LOL. DD loved getting spit on by Stitch.

WGPE was tempting us again because it had been SO good, but we also heard good things about Earl of Sandwich. We decided to give EOS a try and I am glad we did! I ordered a holiday sandwich, this was the most incredible sandwich I have ever had! I am not a big sandwich person and this made me wish we had an EOS near us. I can't remember what DH got, but I know he devoured his as well and was blown away. The kids had grilled cheese and enjoyed them.

It was time for our free chocolate sample at Ghiradelli, yum! We bought some chocolate to snack on the plane.

We stopped by Goofy's Candy Company to use the last couple snack credits we had to get snack for the plane ride.

We made it back to the bus stop and an AOA bus showed up first. I wanted to check out that resort some more, so we took that bus.

AOA, this resort was where I had wanted to stay originally. It is just so in your face Disney and I absolutely LOVE it!

We wandered the gift shop and looked around for a bit, the kids found a coloring table and made some pictures.

We had a fabulous time exploring and taking pictures. DH agreed that he would like to stay here next time.

This resort is so gorgeous, I even took pictures in the bathroom. LOL

It was nearing our tragical depress time, we walked back to POP, got our bags and waited for the bus.

The kids had fun playing while we waited.

The bus ended up running really late which made me nervous, luckily when it arrived we left fairly quickly.

There was a very short video clip on the bus that DD saw on how to draw Mickey Mouse. She drew it immediately, I was shocked at how well she did after what seemed like a 15 second clip. She was very proud of herself too.

We arrived at the airport and made the long, but uneventful ride home to reality.

This ended our very first trip to WDW, there were ups and downs as to be expected but overall we had an amazingly magical trip! I can tell you that we are all hooked and want to go back already!

I include one more post of my reviews and such. Thanks for everyone who followed along!

What a lovely trip!

I noticed those bracelets but had no idea the paper they used included park maps. That is so cool.

BTMR at night is my favorite ride.

I love the souveniers both you and DH picked up!

How cool that you got to meet Wendy!

Love the pictures you took during your solo time, so pretty.

I'm sorry dinner wasn't too good :(

The pictures with your jerseys came out so great!

I'm glad DD chose BTMRR, a nice way to end the trip!

The last night is always so sad :(

Love the resort pics, it's nice that you got to enjoy some time exploring before you left.

I'm glad this was an amazing first trip for you all! I loved reading along, thank you for sharing!! :)

I have loved following along on your TR! You all look like you had a wonderful time - and I love that shot of you guys in your Huskys jerseys!! Our trip overlapped yours for a little bit, though we flew home on Labor Day. It sure was hot but no place in the world I would rather be!!! :)

I'm so glad you wrote this report! I had such fun following your family on this adventure!

I do hope you guys will return soon, and do another!!

Can't wait for the final update!
